Regarding Anshuman, whatever I have understood from his chwracter sketch, he is image concious and likes to achieve what he wants in any which way but without hampering his IMAGE. He came to rajasthan to save his image only as he accepted dt challenge. But here also he wanted to execute the plan in a way so dt people dnt think he is bad and blame him, wanted to put up that scenario oh look I am here to get your daughter, but as you are not ready lets make it officially a broken marriage. Its like killing two birds with single stone and it suits his opportunist attirude well. But I guess sometimes its better to accept man proposes and god disposes. So we better not make plans as destiny most of the time play spoilsport to fail that plan.

And I think it will be interesting to watch how Ahshuman will behave once he starts living with pakhi. Will he put up his best self to keep intact his image or make it clear to her what he actually wants.

Yeah after a long time ever since IPK..I found something interesting on TV... I liked Iqbal so that adds to it... but more importantly story looked somewhat different and refreshing...and finally we have sensible and mature Female lead character... and the one which is not OTT and bubbly kind...

Yup Riti, the promos were really catchy and based on bengali novel caught my attention too. I dnt like dabh frm the same production , so was skeptical about it. But I know Iqbal chooses good work, toh thought lets give it a try. I agree with you regarding female lead but I was warned that she overacts. 😆 so far so good though.
But for me, the leads character introduction cud have been better.

I think he will try at first to make her leave him herself. Even if he accepts her now I do not think he will be off his goal so easily at the moment.

Yup may be, but as he himself said he wanted to take her home as wife, he cant be ill treating man on the face , then it wii be against his image. Pakhi' s family will come behind him if he throws her out and all. Lets wait and c whts the makers have to offer. But I guess it will be head vs heart , maintaining image vs what he wants, letting go vs holding on gor this male lead. Not unique but surely interesting if treatment given is novel. Tough times ahead for Anshuman Rathore.

Yup Rajasthan is really beautiful, I visited chittorgarh fort too, toh gt excited. But sab kuch bahat jaldi jaldi ho raha tha. I was like why. 😆
