Why Watch TD????

Dk's memory loss.............Probably we'll loose our memory watching this crap!! Guhas & Sunita have all lost their mind. I think it is sitting at home next to their common sense. TV shows today are a race b/w producers striving to make bigger, idiotic & illogical prog, to mint money & the Universe trying to produce bigger & better logical idiots (I'm also one of them!). By all this gr & forums we r getting more & more people hooked to this idiotic & illogical world! But if all is so bad or illogical in this la la land then why do we still watch soaps, I wonder.......................

I for one watch it for the lovely prima donnas thought they r always soapy-weepy but always wear lovely sarees & latest salwar suits!! Apart fr dressing up they handle the handsome hunks who r also weep-o-rama with finesse! Not only handle but the men (DK or Angad) change for their love. Girls who intend to marry a bad boy like Dk or Angad can take some lessons on transforming their love i.e. bad boy thus making then feel like a winner. I have learnt after watching soaps that bad boy most of the times are softies and sweet romantics at heart (the twirling in the rain , the bedroom sc, chuda giving in the flash back, are some of the ex fr TD!), the tough guy look is just a facade they have to disguise their real self....................

MInk well said..Guhas are busy chasing TRP's becos that is one word that is probably at the top of everywhere serial producers list and i am sure GUhas's are heavily influenced by it..DK having a memory loss will usre give them more time and ofcourse help TRP's again we would want to know what will happen, will DK recognise disha etc we will still watch the serial as it has become an addiction for me anyway..I need my daily dose of DK😆

I also agree tough man are real sweethearts as you say both DK and Angad they have both changed for their love in different ways..

Can't help it Mink. Have just become addicted to certain soaps like TD, Astitva and Jassi. They have like become a part of our family. We are happy when they are happy and sad when they are sad (I know it sounds silly but that is how it is). And like u said for the lovely sarees, dresses and jewellery of the ladies. Though at times I do give Jassi and Astitva a miss due to my work schedule, I never miss TD. Always waiting for Disha and DK scene. And now for sometime I doubt we will get to see them together, so why watch TD at all? But I know I will watch it no matter what, just so that I can discuss it with you all the next day on our forum.

well mink i too am not looking fwd to any memory loss crap...........why can't these guhas b original for 1ce & come up with something diff............oh i guess we can go on till we r blue in the face but they will always do things that rocket the TRP's.........nothing else matters to them............

on the other side i would much rather prefer memory loss as opposed to plastic surgery & replacing ashish...........i would definitely stop watching then............

yeh these so called tough guys are all "upar se sakth aur andar se naram"...........all softies & romantics at heart............they build this wall around them due to circumstances in their lives, like dk's sad childhood of growing up without his parents..........hence he put all his energy & effort into his business/career & created such a successful empire..........if u look at his character it wasn't that of real negative character............he was just a tough business tycoon who was used to getting his way & in the same token worked very hard for what he achieved & ofcourse steered clear of all emotional sentiments..........

yes watching td has become like a punishment nowadays😡,but i watch td just for teh sake of seeing it and for doing update

Quite right. We mostly do watch serials for the getup rather than the story but we do expect this to be reasonable as well (haha big hope!).

What producers do not get is that if there is a reasonable storyline to go with the getup than they can be assured of a more steady diehard base of fans. Chasing TRPs will lose them this core base - look what happened after the sting operation!

I know that I will go from definately watching TD to sometimes because of the storyline they are taking and if they do big time leaps or major actor changes then I'm afraid it is going to be history. 😕 And that is saying a lot because I don't watch any of the other serials except for Kareena K once in a while - only renewed subscription to Zee because of TD but now thinking of changing channels when the current subscription expires.

Well thats part of the reason for still putting up with the torture. I feel like I owe to the updaters to sit there & torture myself when you guys have tortured yourself for writing those updates for us.

Apart from that, I only started watching the show cuz of Ashish and will probably always watch the show as long as he's in it! And like most of you, I also love these nonsense shows for the saris and the jewellery.

Yes TD has become a torture and I torture myself as I generally write the take everyday. But I just cud not make myself write anythin 2day. It was just too much.

As Nikki says if its a plausible storyline then the TRPs wil automatically be high. But the prob is that they just don't want to show anyone happy. As in that case the show will end. And all the good ppl face all the problems in the world. It is as if don;t be good or else u will be besieged with problems.

I also watch TD for all those wonderful saris and of course Ashish as well. I don't trust KYPH storyline as well so TD is the only choice for me.

Replacing Ashish is definetly out of the question..........I cant see anybody else enacting the role of Dk accept our Ashish dearest......

Memory Loss.............How would he remember Kanaka?????????..........or better still..........he may open up a completely new business in a completely different field........

Td is such a waste these days...............not even too eager to read the updates anymore............

Yesterday in SA........we much the episode where Sumitra returned home from the hospital under the misconception that Pari is the Bahu........felt like throwing something on the Tv screen........😡

But then felt happier after i realised that Sumi will die😃
