I think Anu is in love with Arya because she is the incarnation of his ex wife's. When you love someone deep, it is tough for him to not sense it. I think Arya likes Anu.. maybe he is acting.. if they are following the original story

Will love sharad in negative character but that will kill essence of arya.

Till now, it feels both are falling....arya giving too much importance from start...jhende was correct ( though the scene was way overdramtic🙄)
