Pata nahi Priyu. Maybe because there was more focus on love story, but na I cried more in Border than the movie. Border ke last hour me to aansoo rukte hi nahi h. With this movie, I felt their was some restraint cos they only showed the love story angle, parents, the camaraderie between soldiers utna nahi dikhaya whereas in army, the soldiers are much more tightly bound to each other even more than their families.

Haa…

Ho sakta hai..

Border movie to epic hai yaar..

Uski takkar ki koi movie nahi hai..

Actually when I was 7 or 8, there was a show on Sahara One called Mission Fateh based on our martyrs. I don't remember much now but there was a similar episode in it based on a Kargil martyr. His name was perhaps Vijay. So na there was this sweet old school love story with his fiancee and he becomes a martyr in the war. In the end they showed even his ghost is guarding that peak from Pakistani army and that scene gave me goosebumps. The ending quote was shaheed markar bhi apne desh ki raksha karna nahi bhoolte. There was also a sweet beautiful song in that episode with lyrics like Sitare meri manzil..

Thats superb..

Aur woh sach hi hai.. Shaheed markar bhi desh ke seva me hote hain..

Especially the scenes with Sunil Shetty's character...matlab his love for Bharat Mata. Shershah me I only cried when Vikram became a martyr magar border me to poora second half royi thi.

Hmm...and Tanhaji battle scenes...I got goosebumps when Tanhaji stopped Shivraya's castle being attacked by baroodi top even when his hand was chopped off, The Legend of Bhagat Singh's climax scene, Bose the forgotten Hero when the song Tanha Rahi apni raah chalta jayega plays, Padmavati's Jauhar scene. It's almost mind-boggling how many people have sacrificed for our nation.
