My assumption

Kallu is trusting AS and hence she is going ahead with the rituals thinking that AS will not let this marraige happen

As actually promises her

For now she believes as kuch na kuch karke usse bachayegi

But she is indirectly making Anu to force her to agree for marrige

Kallu is vakth trust kaeke baithi he ki AS had understood her dilema and is supporting her

Anu is the biggest weakness of kallu

Intially, AS and her companions might be winning, but we all know there is not way Kalyani will get married to someone else.

I told you my theory that I feel Malhar may discover during this engagment that the ladka is not good, might be a womanizer or something and expose him, and Damini will lash out saying that KalMa are still having an affiar despite being divorced or whatever. But once it is discovered that the ladka is not a good person, even Anu won't push for this marriage and AS to look good in front of Kalyani will also have to forgo this marriage.
