I think Kalyani was angry at Moksh's death and the fact that Malhar shot her, and she wanted him to come after her, try and find her and prove his love to her. She feels he is the one at fault, not her. So from her POV it makes sense. I'm sure she has been hearing updates about him for the past 5 years. I'm sure she didn't forget about him, she just never reached out to him, cause she felt he should be the one to reach out to her.

Why come back to Aurangabad? She wanted to find him. She can look for Anu from anywhere. She doesn't need to be in Aurangabad to find Anupriya. And if she was unable to find Anupriya in the past 5 years, she must have known chances of Anupriya being in Aurangabad is also less. I think she came back for Malhar only, cause this way she can interact with him. She thought he would know she was alive.

Btw seeing the flashbacks to 5 years ago, I feel Kaka discovered something that was previously unknown to the family. Cause Kaka first said that he would jail Malhar for Kalyani's death, then he changed and acquitted Malhar by saying until Kalyani's body was found it could not be a murder. But Kaka is not the type to deceive people like that and Malhar wouldn't avoid punishment either if he was guilty. So some new info was discovered. I think Trilok may have confessed to firing the gun and both Rane men knew about it but no one else believed them. Seemed like they were trying to blame Trilok to avoid punishment for Malhar.

Its not logical or right, Kalyani should given Malhar the benefit of the doubt, but I actually don't even think she doubts him, this is not a trust issue. I think it's just her anger and ego and grief that is the issue. Deep down, she knows he's innocent, she still loves Malhar a lot and can't see him humiliated or in pain. She just feels betrayed.

I also think AS knew that Kalyani was alive all this time and made sure that she was unable to find Anupriya until Anupriya was fully brainwashed by AS. AS wants her pothi and wants to control Anupriya.

That's why I keep saying that who shot Kalyani truth should be revealed ASAP.

Actually the problem is when the entire shooting sequence happened both Kalma was not in their right framework of mind. They had just lost their child and Then he shot her too. Kalyani was confused and dumbfounded at this.This was not the Malhar he had known. Its just her angst where pain is also mixed with anger that coax her not to find him. She must have thought that even after loving me so much how can he shoot me?She was emotionally vulnerable and as usual was not thinking straight. She did not find the pertinance to find him out. She never wanted to confront him again bcoz she thought Why will i do that if he does not care about me?There lies the issue....In normal conditions she must have investigated it but it was her hurt that made her aloof. Now she is a DM,she has that power and sources that she can use to search someone but then she was not in a very good position.The problem is both Kalma were under the web of misconception and the family members except Kaka had heightened that. So I agree with Sasu "s theory. Hence i want the shooting truth to b revealed soon atleast then Kalyani and Malhar will do some civil conversation
