Poor Malhar, the more he tries to keep Kalyani away from this case, the more she is getting involved. He's desperate to send her to a hostel so she doesn't get involved in all this dumb drama anymore. He's thinking the same thing as the SR episode about all these household work and SBS killing her potential. That's why he's been rude to her as of late. His heart is in the right place.

Ha saas di Maine kaha that na hook or crook he doesn't mind. He want kallu away from this family circus. Even kallu doesn't seems to believe that she has potential to do something great but malhar beleives he doesn't want her to end up as another anupriya. Earlier they were all alone he could do household chores and help her support her but in a joint family with people like baapji it is not easy. He can't always stay here and keep watch and his parents treats bahu like a naukrani he can't throw them away also so he decided to go for hostel despite it will be diffcult for him personally.

It happens on reality. Someone I know closely had a love marriage at 21 and decided to do masters after marriage. It was really difficult for her to concentrate on studies. And she was pregnant during her final exams in the last sem. So I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for her, to manage everything.

Malhar has made the right choice. Right now, Kallu is too mad and emotional to see through it and thinks he is separating her from family. But since Kalyani is a bright girl with lot of dreams, I think she should concentrate on studies and get good marks rather than barely getting through exams just for the sake of it.
