03/12 Written Update

Vrinda walks on the road crying as she has flashbacks of Sharad-Rithika and what happened at the mandir. She goes home to her mother who is teary and hugs her and wonders what to do with Vrinda. Parminder says that she had explained to her not to come. She tells Vrinda that she is her mother and loves her but Vrinda's kismet has become their enemy. Because of her Dadabeer's head was bowed in shame.

Dadabeer returns home and a weeping Vrinda says to him that she did not to anything on purpose. Dadabeer takes both Vrinda and Paarminder outside and shows them the rain. He tells them that VA may have won the bidding but God was not pleased with this which is why the rain has washed away his havan.

Mandir…

VA is furious and tells the pundit to set another havan but the pundit says that once the fire of the havan is out they can't re-start the puja. Baba says that this is because of the enmity between two friends that even God didn't approve of. Dadabeer arrives and tells VA that he had wanted to shame him [Dadabeer] and his village but God had something else in mind which is why the havan was stopped. Both families leave and Baba muses that no-one would have ever thought that two friends who could not bear the others hurt are now the biggest pain in each others live. He wonders when the time will come for them to join again.

Later…

Dadabeer's whole village celebrates with dancing and singing but Rithika looks worried.

VA's Haveli…

The servant Maharaja tells Yug's mother that Yug will go to the havan and arrive in two hours. Yug's mother replies that she has waited for so long and wait for another two hours. Another servant arrives and tells Maharaja that two laddoos are missing from the kitchen. Yug's mother realises that her son is back and Yug hugs her.

VA comes storming in with the rest of the family, furious at losing out on the havan and says that this is Yug's fault as he knows that he [Yug] is good luck for him but still didn't turn up. Yug's mother tells him to hide as VA comes forward and asks her if she has heard from Yug. When she doesn't reply he becomes worried and wonders why Yug is not here yet.

Yug bends down to touch VA's feet and saya that he needs VA's blessings, not his anger. VA turns away and refuses to talk to him. Yug says that in that case he will leave. VA turns and asks his family why they let Yug go but Yug is hiding and VA laughs, telling Yug that he will never change. Yug cutely replies:

Khotha kiska hu…VA laughs and corrects him and asks Yug when will he learn hindi. Yug says theen jhanmo mein…VA says that three months is mahine not jhanam. They hug as the family smile.

Village…

Vrinda goes to find Krithika and asks her what she is doing inside when everyone is celebrating outside. Rithika replies that she is writing a letter to father as her and Sharad may not have been able to elope today but he has said that he will wait for her on the other side tomorrow.

Vrinda is worried and asks Rithika to think about her parents but Rithika is adamant and gives Vrinda her kasam that she won't tell the family anything.

Morning…

Rithika crosses the line to the other side to meet Sharad but stops as she sees three men in front of her.

Haveli…

VA is exercising when his son comes and tells him about Rithika. VA is happy to hear this and says that this time it will be Dadabeer's head that will be lowered in shame.

Outside…

Yug finds Sharad and asks him why he is sitting on his own. Sharad evades the question when a man comes and tells Sharad that VA has called for him. Sharad leaves.

Village…

Dadabeer tries to console the pundit, assuring him that Rithika will be found. The men return and say that Rithika is nowhere to be found and asks who saw her last. A women says that Vrinda went to talk to her last night. Pundit's wife come out and says that she knows why Rithika has gone. She hands the letter to pundit who reads it and collapses.

Dadabeer asks pundit what is in the letter. VA arrives with Rithika and Dadabeer is shocked.

Lmao, loved the Yug/VA scene where he gets all his hindi wrong. I guess bluetooth is a necessity then.😆
