Allow me to take you back in time ... to the first episode of TSMSP 😛

The episode started with Bhabo making ladoos in Kerela on Sooraj and Sandhyas death anniversary... for the last 5 years they have done this puja in different places. Ved arrives in Police uniform, nostalgia of Sandhya there. Vansh appears in saari being silly and funny. Meanwhile Kanak is also shown in hostel thinking of her parents death anniversary where she must leave an exam to attend... she begins to fear because she has to go alone... but then she remembers: "Na rona, Na darna, Na hichki, bhool mat Kanak, tu beti hai kiski" 👏
Kanak falls asleep on the bus, then wakes up on a boat, next to Shiv who tells her that his brother will take her to the temple where she wants to go. Uma Shankar is seen getting poor couples married. He comes on boat and tells couples about marriage, mainly patni dharam. Kanak overhears and responds fumingly to each of Umas views with her own, opposing ones. KanUm are painted already as polar opposites, like SurYa were at the start of DABH. Kanak reaches temple, her and her brothers have good bonding. Pandit asks Bhabo for the names of SurYas children, Bhabo says Ved and Vansh and no more... Kanak hears this and gets heartbroken.
It was a beautiful episode. Lovely introduction and reintroduction of Diya Aur Baati Hum. CVs did well.
