What could be the reason for separation?

It is really sad to see Kanak's plight and to an extent Uma's. Cvs have kept us in suspense so far. So what do you all think happened 2 years ago? The 3 possibilities that come to my mind are:

They could have threatened Uma if he marries anybody else they will kill his wife. Or everything may be a deal too shadhi set up for world so meera bought Uma two years time lapse if she couldn't make it that's it. Deebz your story at the divorce track is my favo pls give us one like that na.

I am also thinking what could be reason that uma have to go to an extent of marry meera that too without giving an explanation to kanak..

First guess is meera and his father had kept hold on maasa, but by going saturday's episode it's not, as when brings maasa they all are happy as she become well..and they are thanking meera, not a single ounce of anger as if she didn't kept hostage maasa..

And second option is kanak, but seems like meera don't know kanak's existence in uma's life.. And may be her father can threatned uma about kanak's safety.. And now cvs not showing meera's father, why?..

Third option is meera and her father have kidnapped suman and shiv to blackmail uma into marrying meera.. As they both are looking traumatised..

I think kanak's safety is the main reason for Uma's separation even Suman shiv want to hide kanak photo from meera ... But according to me what ever the reason uma should fight for his love... Leaving kanak like this is not good. . Cvs always 😡
