Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is back with my nonsense. Although nothing substantial has happened but still it's a relief that Uma has survived another fatal attack.
Direct to discussion.
Fire is one of the four elements that make up the world... fire that burns, the flames that erupt and spreads, the heat it exudes, the temperature it raises, also brings purification... Fire burns away all impurities, just like gold when burned it comes out in its purest form. Fire has been used a lot off lately, be it by setting an effigy on fire or to threaten...
Today Uma was set on fire, it was his Agni pareeshka... the inhuman laughter and glee apart, the joy of snuffing a life out, enjoying the helplessness of a person - fire played a significant role. The older Uma is set on fire, and from that fire would emerge a new one. Uma passed his pareeshka, he escaped the fire unburnt... Uma who is set on fire runs towards the lake, he douses the fire.
It's interesting that whenever Uma is about to start a new phase of life, he goes and submerges in a water body, be it the start of marry Kanak sanket in Kerala, or to shut Kanak out of his life... today again Uma emerged from the water.. with a new resolution. Uma walks out of the water towards Vansh and Kanak. Uma and Kanak hold hands and they run together to save their life.
The police asks Uma to surrender, how petty and weird is the whole scene - they know that the sena is after Uma's life, he was broken out of the van in front of their eyes, beaten and set fire to - yet the police asks Uma to surrender, assuring his safety. Not arresting the sena members.
When the police cannot protect themselves how would they provide protection to Uma, an innocent person who has been convicted... the focus remained on Uma rather than on the sena members...
KanUm and Vansh hide from everyone, Uma is about to get up when Vansh drags him down. And the next phase of his life starts, they would be on the run, they would prove Uma innocent by getting the real culprit and they would do this by going out of the reach of law - it's interesting how Uma says it's wrong and Kanak agrees, but her words weigh heavy on his conscience scale... there is no right or wrong in the battle of truth - for the truth they can search the seven skies and deepest of oceans, under the rocks or on the mountain top... truth stands on its two feet shrouded in a cloak of darkness and betrayal, and to unveil the truth they would submerge in the darkness themselves... for to clean the muddy puddle one has to get dirt on their self. Life cannot be lived remaining within the lines, sometimes the lines need to be crossed to have actually lived life.
The scene where Uma says that it's his first time and he has no safe house is really hilarious - Kanak gives it back in sarcasm that they are seasoned on the run criminals that they know it all... the expressions of Rani Vansh and Kanak were spot on while Uma played naive.
