Hey there all the lovely people!!
I hope you all understand why the post is delayed today - because it's Hard to watch that onscreen let alone write a narrative of it - the performance was TOP NOTCH... although there were other logical ways of revealing the truth to Uma, yet drama of such intensity was utilized-it's to show that even while he was dying second by second he couldn't believe that Massi was bad/evil.

Avinesh Rekhi dude you have outdone yourself... I am in awe of your performance today. Realistic and heartbreaking. I love you for being Uma Shankar, and such brilliance onscreen.
It was a great scene and amazing team work from all cast and crew. Be it Massi Aditya or Kanak.

Now to Episode Discussion.

The episode today rendered me speechless-there is a storm inside, yet the words aren't enough today...
The mountains shuddered and the skies wept, the waves crashed and the land trembled... the glacier which took years to build, layer upon layer, today that foundation shook, and the avalanche brought devastation which nobody could have anticipated.
Uma refuses to step back, he pushes Kanak back when she stops him from eating the ladoos, he eats not one but all of them - with each of them he speaks out loud how indebted he is to Massi, be it for the first time she held his little hand, or the time she made him wear Janyu, the time when she taught him to be on the path of dharm - he eats them all, bite by bite he consumes the poison - it's a portrayal of how he had been slow poisoned over the years by Massi, be it in name of motherly love, education or keeping the family together.
Kanak cries and pleads him to stop and to go to a hospital but he pushes her back again and again- that's his anger, he has lost his sanity in that moment of Laddoo pareeksha, it's his trust, his faith that has been questioned and accused and he only sees red, he is about to boast that his Massi can't poison him but no matter what his mind or heart says, his body reveals the truth - the heartbeat quickens, his breath caught, he clenched his chest - he is in agonizing pain that's ripping through his body, blood that slowly seeps out through his nose, at that moment he looks at Massi and realizes that Kanak was saying the truth - but even when the truth is standing in front of him, running through his body in form of poison, he goes in the state of denial - he refuses to accept that his Massi could do such a thing, his denial is short lived for Massi slaps him and reveals that she did it as Aditya's mother, she slaps him again and again for everything be it for ruining her life, separation from Aditya, sending Aditya to jail - she finally reveals that Uma was her golden hen, who prepared medicine and she ripped him off hundreds of thousands. She had everything be it property or money, yet she stayed for she saw the medical genius in him... and later for the wonder drug of infertility - Uma is crushed and despite eating ladoos and slaps he still shakes his head that this is all wrong. He falls to his knees, he bleeds profusely, even then he says that she made a bad deal, for he lost his Massi forever... why did she do it when she had it all, why did she break his illusion of mahan Massi - Massi points at Kanak, the root cause of all chaos in Massi's bubble.
She reveals that she was leaving quietly but Kanak stole the formula and she had to take such a step - there is no justification for her actions, she is greedy and beyond redemption, human beings are not just hungry for food, but for love and care, at the slightest gesture of warmth a person is attracted to other... Massi attracted the little Uma to her fake love, care and concern, over years he was so taken by her that he never had any cause of concern regarding her rules/love/discipline... Massi abused the love he gave her, the respect he showered on her, the way he laid everything of value in her feet. He didn't asks anything in return expect for love - that's a child who had lost his parents, his childhood to tragedy, and Massi only reared him up so that she could get all property after he turns 18.

It's during the train wreck that Aditya is used as a comic relief- even though he was there nothing could break the image of Uma suffering, the way he was bloodied in the battle between trust and betrayal. His life, his entire existence has been caught up in a whirlwind, he stood in disbelief, he bore the slaps by hand and slaps of truth for how blinded he had been... it's even in the last seconds, all he wants is his Massi, his maa. He has become that helpless little boy who has no idea how to save his paper boat from storm, to protect himself from the monsters in the closet - he needs that mother who had promised him safe haven... Kanak begs him to keep his eyes open, she is devastated to another level, her love, her life is struggling to breath, battling between truth and poison.
Massi gives her an option to save Uma by handing over the formula. Kanak is helpless, she gives over the paper and the camera holds her empty hands in frame, that's how helpless one can be in front of fate or people who try to play God. Kanak who had everything minutes ago is begging empty handed to a cruel heartless being to give the antidote to save Uma.
Everything happened in front of Shivji, curtain raised from years of facade, his bhakt (Uma) has fallen in front of him, broken and beaten.

Hi Blue😊,
Superb analysis👏 i love the way you explained Uma's feelings❤️.
Today's episode is extremely touching and unbearable😭😭.
Uma has such faith in Maasisa. My heart ached with pity for him💔
Maasisa is atrocious😡 and say that at the beginning, Uma compared her with Yasodo maa. She can't hold a candle to Yasoda maa. Maasisa's character is closer to the rakshasa Kamsa😈 than Yasoda maa.
Maasisa is the most unlucky mother, Uma loves her more than her own son but she doesn't realize that.
Tomorrow's episode will be a tear-jerking episode for me😭.
Thank you Blue👍🏼

Didn't Watch the episode but your analysis is Wow! 👏 Well done does not suffice! And much gratitude for bearing the burden of watching the heavy duty stuff while we opted out!
So well said! Pretty epic episode judging by the slides posted but sadly shallow that Massi sa's only purpose was greed! No love revenge motive like I had deduced from early episodes and her dialogues to Palomi. Her motives turned out to be as ordinary as the common thug! And now I'm sure she is not Umas real Massi. Probably a distant relative or family friend who took advantage of the situation. So perhaps Massi sa is not behind Massas paralysis. And Massi sa just took advantage of the poor woman's state of things. And Shiv and Suman s parents conveniently disappeared at the right time for the little lost children of Toshniwal house to be taken advantage of. How absolutely shallow!

Dear blue

Thank you so much for your wonderful analysis today.

Your comparison of actual poison with slow poison which Massisa feeding Uma in disguise of motherly love is truly awesome and no words can explain my gratitude for your analysis of such heart breaking episode.

Avinesh did such an awesome job and whole team executed the sequence very brilliantly.

As you mentioned, Uma had such deep trust and confidence on Massisa's motherly love.

It's heartbreaking to watch Uma's soul ripped apart by Massisa's greed.

Precap looks more heart wrenching but glad Uma himself don't want to stop marriage. It looks like he is back to sane world until Massisa gives him one more blow as per new promo.

Hey there
Thank you for reading and commenting.
We as audiences were conflicted too, to behave like Kanak to get him to a hospital and not let him suffer any second longer but then we're secretly relieved that finally the poison of fake love of Massi was evaporating slap by slap Laddoo by ladoo...
but it was a damn hard watch

Awesome Analysis blue spot on I was totally depressed seeing the episode it took nearly one hour to come back that much Avi has outdid himself Top notch performance this is the same word I used to tweet him yday. Uma 's blind trust and faith on massisa made him to face this agnipariksha.Slowly he consumed poison one by one I loved the way u compared with slow poison which was given to him in the form of fake love care and affection. Uma was boasting about their pavitra rishta of mother and son relationship which he and Massisa shared all these years. Massisa was motherly figure for umashankar I can understand anyone in uma's place will react like this only. She was guru for him teaching dharam sanskars she wasm ain part of umashankar upbringing moulding him into a good human being good bhai. Kanak however tried to stop the discussion to take him to hospital but he was not ready to listen to her he wasso confident that massisa will not do such a sin to him even when he was bleeding that's called trust how much trust respect and blind love on massisa even in his deathbed he couldn't believe his beloved massisa poisoned him. It was an heart wrenching seq blue the entire cast was outstanding Avi expression was brilliant class one act the way he portrayed those melancholic expressions was commendable umashankar 's agony anguishness sorrowful eyes brought tears to our eyes. Massisa self confession about her misdeeds to him broke down into pieces he has not even imagine that massisa would betray him even in his wildest dreams that too for just money property lavish lifestyle all this turned her into an avaricious woman. For money she has killed one's heart soul trust faith belief love and even relationship. Uma still coudnt accept the reality in front of him he couldn't come out of the illusions which he was living with it for many years. He was devastated seeing different avathar of massisa her true face her true colours in front of him he was confused which one was original massisa the one who sacrificed her life for him or the one who mixed poison to kill him. Massisa clearly stated that Adithya mom gave him the poison and not his massisa so it was clear she was massa for Adithya and Massisa for uma so she didn't even loved or cared for uma. Uma was a golden goose for her who will make her to earn millions through his extraordinary talents of making medicines. Each revelation of massisa was a big blow to umashankar. His thirty years of belief trust wrong dharam preached by massisa for her convenience made him to shatter into pieces.
Massisa is ruthless sadist how she has made him a rigid dharmic personality for exploiting him faking him with motherly love. She has preached all wrong dharam and she was condemning him to make her to follow it. Uma yearns only for true love and affection towards him he never expected anything beyond that. He was ready to sacrifice his life for Massisa even at that crucial moments of his death he yearned for his massisa her affection her love and her care for him. He had lost everything in his life but he didn't bother about that he was more heartbroken that he has lost his massisa becos she was the only one he valued her more than anything in this world. Kanak was devastated too she wanted to save her suhag her life her love at any cost. Massisa made a business's deal to kanak to save uma kanak was helpless at the moment seeing umas sufferings so she gave up her challenge and surrended on feet of massisa to save her love. She handed over the formula file becos for her uma is valuable more than anything in this world. Even last moment Uma addressed her as Maa that shows how much devotion priceless love and respect for his massisa. Hats off to umashankar.

Hey there Calypso
Thank you for reading and a heartbreaking comment.

A motichoor ladoo is made up of several tiny pieces of moti - Uma's trust, his belief, his faith in Massi broke just like a motichoor ladoo - all fallen to the ground and shattering to tiny little pieces.
For Uma she had been more than his own mother because she pretended that way, molded his thought process that way. He is dying yet he is in disbelief, she had to slap him with each confession and then also he wanted to have her back because for him a mother can't be devious.

Definitely Massi is unlucky, for pride hath a fall, the son who loved her, respected her she dismissed him like trash and the other son with whom she plots n plan would someday backstab her.

Hey there Ice
Thank you for reading and commenting.
Am I the only one who watched 😲 - I am such a weirdo.

There were a lot of theories earlier about unrequited love when Massi used to console or use Palomi, it had seemed that there was some underlying grudge but it didn't turn that way - as you have said that all her actions are of a common thug, greed is the only underlying motive which drived her for years to be in that house. She walked in at the opportune moment when the sister was sick and kids too small to understand... she waited till Uma was 18 to get hold of property and money in his name, but by then her greed had spread more... greed is one of the deadly sins, it's an endless pit, it can never be filled, for there is always something else that would be wanted, another jewel in the armory or anything.

The story was messed up to be honest. There are a lot of loops and holes but it's the performance that carried all the weight... there was nothing extraordinary in that scene but still it's a beautiful scene because the emotional investment with Uma takes us all on the ride. He was a wanderer in the desert and his mirage of water broke, the relief of Shade he had spent his life on was just an illusion. He is back to being that lost wanderer.
