It was indeed a pleasant surprise or should i saw treat to read your FF.

The shadows of the darkness crept in as the lightning struck from outside

The light from the television lit up Uma's face as Kanak tried to focus on anything but the television

A shrill scream from the woman on the tv made Kanak jump up , digging her nails into Uma's hand she shoved her face into his arm

"Is it over, is it over"
Uma looked at the tv, it was over but he enjoyed scaring her

"Kanak wait theres something outside"
Kanak squealed as she jumped into his lap "turn it off, turn it off"

Uma laughed as he grabbed the remote and switched the tv off

"Okay its gone"
Kanak shook her head as she still hid her face in his chest

Pushing her hair out of her face , he stroked her hair
"Youre okay, its gone now"

Kanak looked up at Uma , his hand lingered on her cheek
"Uma, I, I dont know what youre doing to me but ive never felt like this before"

Uma kissed her forehead as he stood up, sitting her on the sofa
"We cant get this close again"

Kanak stood up, grabbing his hand "Uma, please dont leave me again"

Uma turned to face her "you remember "
"Bhaboo told me, we dont need to worry about the other people anymore"

Turning to face her he pulled her towards him as he held her close

Part 15-

Nanda walked over to the Rathi household
Going over to Bhaboo she hugged her

"I have brought shagun for Kanak and Uma"
Kanak took her blessings as she hugged Nanda

Uma walked in after her and smiled
Vansh outstretched his hand "if anyone can look after my sister, its you"

Uma shook his hand and thanked him

Rani ran over to Kanak "Im so happy for you, youre marrying Aditya"
Kanak's eyes widened "No, no Uma"

Rani laughed "I'm just teasing you, we all knew this would happen"
Uma walked over "Oh, how so"

Bhaboo smiled "Who do you think calles Aditya back from London, if anything can bring you together its your care for her"

Uma smiled as Kanak grasped his hand

"Turns out you were a preety good matchmaker, you got us together"
Uma laughed "Ill make the sweets for our marriage"

Kanak laughed "You're not that good yet, but its okay ill love you anyway"

Uma wrapped his hand around her waist "Thats good because I love you to"
