Jealousy and greed are only used in the context of negativity, but the right amount of jealousy in a relationship should always be there, to be on the toes all the times... Kanak is dancing and Uma is working, he looks at her, she smiles and is engrossed in it happy and playful, he shakes his head and concentrates on his work. Kanak asks Suman for help and points towards shiv, who is dadosa ka bhakt, says Uma can do everything, and accepts Kanak's challenge. He brings Uma to the dance floor, and says "izzat ka sawal hai - Uma cannot refuse his siblings, as they ask him to dance. KanUm have danced earlier on teej, but it was forced and lacked interest for Kanak today she wanted to match her step with him, she wanted to be near him, to engage his attention towards herself. KanUm dance on ghoomar song, matching steps and twirling around in unison, Uma's eyes always on her, he is consumed by her, her presence, he is looking for that happiness on her face... he is doing his best and he misses a step and she laughs at him, teasing him that he cannot match her - the dreamy sequence comes crashing down on Uma, the bitter reality is again thrown at his face... he is angry, upset and annoyed for he can never be her equal, he walks out and she follows asking him to finish what he started. Uma snaps back that he can never be her equal, he can never match his steps with her, she can get her jai to match her... finally he reveals the name of contention between them, the reason of his annoyance.. he states it's clearly for the first time that he saw her with Jai, and she can never be happy like that with him - the confession of not being good enough for her, maybe while dancing too although he was lost in her - he was looking for that twinkle, the playful gestures, the casual banter, that comfort level which never happened between them... he wants all of Kanak with him but he cannot admit it, because they are to be divorced and secondly he ain't her match. Kanak is baffled initially that Uma considers meeting friends as wrong, but realizes that Uma is jealous of Jai, for Kanak was with him. She is determined to stoke the fire of jealousy to get him to confess his feelings. A healthy dose of jealousy can do wonders in a relationship, as Uma being in ultra philosophical mood is writing in his room, when Kanak kick starts her plan, she shows him the dress Jai gifted her, it's a mini dress, although Uma is visibly annoyed by the thought of Jai gifting such clothes to Kanak and Kanak happily accepted it, he repeats the lines like a robot that she can do whatever she feels like, as she is there only for a few days... that repetition of those lines are a mantra for him, to get used to the idea that she would leave and he cannot do a thing about it.
Kanak is on a savage mode this week, her strokes her winner, the roll of her dice is getting her all the numbers correctly... she took/stole all of Massi's hoarded money, hidden her keys to stop access to other sources of money, and she has cut Aditya's credit cards. She warns Aditya against touching her again as that would land him in jail... Kanak is bulldozing her way through them, she is playing to the face, she is not hiding and playing tricks, she plays and let it be known, she owns up her doings.
Palomi says that ~ jo bas mey nahi, usko bas mey karni ki koshish nahi karni chahiye~ Kanak taking no BS from her asks her to repeat this line 50 times so that she stops doing antics for what's not hers.
