Hey there all the lovely people!!
Since I pulled a MIA on Saturday.
Here is a quick Monday morning discussion...
The whole fire sequence was set for Kanak to realize her love... she was in Love way back but the words struck her at that time... - okay it's fiction it's understandable the liberties they can take with the tangents of the story but why only Kanak. Why the whole setting turned only Kanak... she is imagining stuff, the duppata, Flowers, the confession from daku Singh - she happy and in that zone but where does Uma fit in all this... that girl just almost died in his arms and he was angry with her... he didn't even ask if she was okay, he was nuclear on her to ask questions that didn't even matter at that time, he had to condescend her attempt to save the mangalsutra because they had conveniently decided that hey were divorcing... he left her there because he was annoyed with the unresponsive Kanak. Where is the realization curve for Uma in all this ???
That girl has started to dream, she sees him in ways alien to his self... but dreams are dreams they cannot be limited. It was beautiful sequence but is that all? Now would the focus shift to Uma?
All of that dreamy lovey Dovey mode of Kanak seems just wasted because cvs forgot to addd Uma in the picture. He is still angry - Bhai aur kitna gussa hoga ye.
Is it some kind of Bollywood logic they are trying to apply that "more one shows interest, more the girl tries to ignore. Ignore the girl and she would come running behind you
