What should have been an emotional and heartwarming episode is mostly boring, draggy and disjointed.
This whole track is moving at a snail-pace which would be fine had it made sense or evoked any emotions other than boredom and 'god when will it end'.
I personally believe there was no need to tie up this relationship so soon, especially since it was only like a week or less ago that the Pawan and family division issue was also tied up. But if they must rush then we should have seen Bhabho slowly realising Kanaks worth over a few episodes (2-3 episodes minimum would be fine) but she went from 0 to 100 real quick, that too hearing the story from practically a strangers mouth.
Also Bhabho's reaction seems to justify all that Kanak did for a shop...if you lie, manipulate, and play havoc with peoples lives and emotions..it's fine as long as it was for a good cause
The end justifies the means???
Also such a big sacrifice is needed to to win over one very blind lady😡 I'm just tired of this trope tbh...Love is not about proving how much of a big sacrifice you can make for one another🤢
Bhabho just comes off as a selfish lady with this resolution rather than someone seeing the error of their way.
It was just a disappointing mess over-all. Also the episodes need to be more balanced, it's too heavy on the family drama right now.
I wonder had Kanak not succeeded in getting the shop back, would Bhabho ever accept her?
There were some good stuff.
From Kanak's perspective, it must have been amazing to finally feel acceptance and the love she has been waiting for since forever. Can't imagine the horror of being unwanted and unloved by your own grandma for something beyond your control.
I genuinely loved the scene where K. asked if she could feed her, it was very sweet.
Super excited for the preview though
I wonder if Bhabho asks for Kanaks opinion if she wants to go back or just refuses on her behalf...Bhabho seems to like Uma, another dissapointing part was her lack of reaction to her own grand-daughters marriage and the way she just reiterated the story Uma told her as if she's just a lawyer than a grand-mother
oh well at-least it's out of the way, I guess.
