Tsmsp is way too better than dabh.

IMO it's not a fair comparison.
TSMP is only 100 episodes old and how strong was DABH at 100 episodes?
The story is evolving and I'm sure Kanak will prove a worthy daughter.
Uma's character is a representative of the raising conservatism in rural India and am curious to see how he's gonna shape up.

I gave up on DABH long before 100th epi, TSMP has managed to keep me hooked so far.

I personally loved DABH for the positive message it sent out for the most part. Behind every successful man is a woman...everyone has heard that...but DABH showed that given the right support a woman too can dare to dream and actually achieve those dreams.

The fact that Suraj was uneducated in comparison to his wife was of great significance. Not only did it show that 2 people from 2 different worlds could make things work...for a change it showed the husband having patience, making the sacrifices and commitments, and being the silent pillar of support in the background that a woman normally is expected to be in our society.

Whether TSMSP succeeds in the same lines as its predecessor remains to be seen. One thing it lacks for the time being is Kanak's aspirations to be something. Still I'm enjoying the show. Why? I love odd ball jodis...Uma and Kanak are like a puzzle to me...and I want to see how they manage to work things out. 😆

Yes...it is storyline...DABH was a fresh air...I used watch it with my kids under 14...was proud to show them...how a husband and wife can support each other in any situation... how a husband can help wife to make her space in sasural...

as a part of DABH...we expected ...progressive story from the cvs...they went backward...

If they wanted to show...all those bad things going on in our society...why on leads...they should have showed that on Aditya and Payal...forced marriage ...daasi charitra or kanak cheating for shop ... and what not...

I would have loved if Kanak was in IPS too or had a mission other than Bhabho.

If Kanak was working undercover and met Uma then... it would be a different story with a great plot other than Bhabho and Kanak Milan.

Kanak seems to be gobi bahu daughter not sandhya -suraj.

I know uma is not a bad person,bt kanak's feeling of love towards uma is something i didn't aspect.
There is no attitude in uma tht should attract her.jus becoz she lived wid him few days she started falling for him.uma married forcefully,he is so dominating and discriminates between boys and girls.

DABH had a really good story line.It showed a woman's aspirations and dreams how she achieved them with her husband's help and it showed how a wife and husband can enrich and glorify each other.It showed how a woman also fought evils that exist in the society whereas this show is showing how low a man and a woman can go.This show is focused on distorting Hinduism with some fictional rituals and forced marriage trying to create fictional evils and how they need to be reformed.When a show tries to do that it will get low TRPs not that I trust TRPs most of their numbers are fake anyways but my point is people are much smarter they can see through things.

I agree...it implicates the age old story of the abla naari...who once married...submits and sticks through whatever comes her way. I hope that is not what Kanak's story turns out to be. 🤔

I think the show should be given time. The message they are showing in TSMSP is that you don't always get the life partner you want. But sometimes the willingness to make it work is what works. We all know Uma will change, for better.

@shruti - Uma has good qualities, he doesn't lie, does a lot of social work for free for people, he is a nice human being, honest, and has a heart of gold. The way he married her was wrong, and he has realised it time and again, just not repented yet. But I'm sure he will. His rash decision of marrying her that day itself was more so for his pride as well. And that is what I want to see, how he changes, repents for his mistakes.

I think TSMSP is better show than DABH... Storyline is very different... Diya aut bati has only shown the supportive husband . Educated wife and not so educated husband who support his wife to become IPS officer.

TSMSP was afternoon show when it started and after some time it gets the prime time slot...so viewers missed those imp episode ,it will take some time to get attention . I think we get see beautiful love story...how 2 different people change themselves for good.

Not a fan of dabh... But watching this show fir it's concept
Not watching this show as dabhs2 but as a fresh show and characters kanak and uma
The show was trp topper at afternoon slot
And the idea of starting it from middle affected it maybe
Coz new audience missed out on so many epis that it might be difficult for them to connect with the forced marriage track and umas dharam
The base for the show was laid in the afternoon slot and so ppl missed out on that
The characters base the storys plot the building chem btwn the leads

I think we should give this show some time
This show is brilliant and deserves a chance
The actors are amazing and hardworking
And many of sp shows arw not doing well at trp chaets and still running for years so ours is still a new one
