I have few questions related to marriage life and wife's duties in this century

Please be honest with yourself - just a request

We being blaming Uma for setting rules for a wife, the six qualities are used to define wife's importance in a Man's life.

What wife does for a Man and how she becomes a important part of life.

One of my male friend use to tell me this offen that a Man can't leave without a women in his life

A man needs woman in every step whether it's Mom, wife or daughter/ daughter-in-law

See even in-laws Father-in-law get along easily and treat daughter-in-law well

Let's talk about this century husbands

1. How many of you are house wife are you getting the same kind of respect which our mother and grandmother use to get? respect for mutual duties?

2. Working women's how much support you are getting? Are you not asked to do all household works as well take care of kids? Are you not questioned about not spending enough time due to work commitments?

3. Freedom to go outside no rules, really no taunting when late ? No question about male friends and closeness? No suspect?

4. Never being questioned for supporting parents and siblings?

I am not saying Uma is right but somewhat better husband than so called this century husbands

He is not Sooraj for sure.. do we really have Sooraj in real life..

No offense but my thoughts

no human is similar ...so no husband is similar..
every body have their own perceptions and believe s. ..

in reality situations will be different..tsmsp is a fiction show

I know a guy... my husband's friend circle.. always tells that should not eat junk food, should not watch TV,should not eat maida, should not tell lies in interview s... he married a working girl...arranged marriage.. in 3 months itself the marriage broke and the girl is happy now with her second marriage

fairy tales are not possible in real life always :-))

Sorry guys I am not trying hurt anyone or support Uma for any reason
I saw Man who want woman to earn but still live under their control

I saw Man who can't take Woman stand against them

I saw Man who suspect and blames their wife for having affair when they are late..

We are living in a century where Woman has all rights but I envy older generation for the love and mutual respect they got..

Now marriage became business deal

Society never changes, but ppl do change cuz, their perceptions, acceptance..etc depends on their upbringing/environment. YOU BECOME THE WAY YOU HAVE BEEN NURTURED.
Talking within the frame of tsms,
UMA- from the background what they keep showing..he is a very principled man. He might have grown in closed set of expectation, belived in dharma, karma yet he is educated and successful in his own way.
unlike, kanak who never lived in homely environment nor exposed to dharma karma..where her tolerance to such ideas might be zero because of her carefree nature.

there is nothing wrong in uma nor kanak, its just the kind of environment they were exposed, but where to draw a line or to strike a balance would be the key for happiness. Just my take on this post..good thought provoking post.
