Payal is no saint. She has been plotting for long. It's different thing to take advantage out of ones misery . Bit to create problems is evilness.
Like onion one. If she had followed age order.

To send kanak to suman room.and then telling about it.

To snatch shiv from kanak.

It was not kanak s fault that adi left neither it was umas. He got her married after her parents agreed because he doesn't believe in divorce. He believes in tyag but same house. They were already married first of all as her mother was impressed with their wealth so she took rishta to their house. Now guy has left. Daughter doesn't want to go to in laws. Understood she is human. Not bhagwan or follower of such things like uma.
But why kanak is justifying theft, lying all on this.

Like tomorrow if payal kills kanak, will kanak say her husband is lost si she is angry...

What a joke!!!!!!

2 wrongs do not make a thing right...

This K I cannot see...she cud have said...P did it and here is why she did it and not take it on herself...
But the fault was entirely P's...if she has an issue speak up or do something abt it..do not go abt it the wrong way...

Payal is not innocent at all, but...

Payal was completely under the influence of her mother and thinking money and power will secure her future.

Never wrongs can make things right

Kanak just trying to protect her as she thinks Whatever happened with Payal is wrong and she deserves the punishment.

I used to feel sorry for Payal...for the same reason Kanak feels for her...but now...I only have disdain for her.
It's not just that I can't stand people who can't think for themselves...she just has no character.

It is not because of her mother's influence...that came much later...let's start from the beginning...

She was married...

..yet she was carrying a torch in her heart for Ved. He of course had feelings for her too, but did she ever disclose to him that she was already married? No.

...she ran away from the mandap...but then returned. Yes, Uma gave her a convincing talk, but ultimately it was her choice to return.

...she was ready to throw Kanak under the bus when it came to the onion incident, rather than come forward and admit she also ate them.

All this was before her mother came into the picture.

After her mom comes...

...she set up Kanak so she would go into Suman's room.

...she tries to create a divide between Kanak and other family members, especially Shiv.

...she spoils Kanak and Uma's painting.

...she throws her jewels out the window to have them sent to her mother's place for safe keeping, and when Kanak takes the blame...she stands there like a mute and doesn't do anything to defend her in return.

...and now it seems that Uma's family is getting her married again...that too to Shiv! So will she be okay with that...just to secure her future?!?! What about her feelings for Ved?

@-Jaz-: I complete agree with you...Kanak is extremely naive. She is already prejudiced against Uma for the wrongs done to her...but in Payal's case she turns a blind eye to everything wrong Payal does and again lays the blame squarely on Uma's shoulder. Come on...really? I mean, I don't in any way justify Uma's actions in Kanak or Payal's case...but Payal is no angel.

She was Guru Ma to Shiv. If they had shown that she was to adopt Shiv, it would have been good. Are we living in vedic times that this kind of marriage is thought about.

Kanak is justifying evilness because she is herself evil. Just like Payal was stealing the jewellery. She is trying to steal Kanak Misthan Bhandar from Uma Shankar.
Kanak is a bloody cheat. If she would have an ounce of self respect she would have left Uma Shankar long ago and would have thought of a more principled way to own the shop. Than the way she is doing it now. Who gives property to a wife when this marriage is not a real one. If now they opt for separation it won't be a divorce. It would be an annulment (dissolution of the marriage) of the marriage. She won't get a single penny from Uma Shankar. Instead she may get some compensation if she filed a case for harassment. As compensation she may ask for the shop, atleast that would make more sense

What are you saying?!?!

Evil is a pretty strong word. It implies that someone is immoral at their core.

Neither Kanak or Payal are evil.

They both are silly, ignorant, naive, and immature...both are struggling to fit into a family that is vastly different from their own backgrounds...but they are not evil.

Both are blinded...Payal by her mother's fears for the security of her future...and Kanak by the desire to get Bhabo's love.

The difference is Payal is selfish. She does not care if anyone gets hurt or not as a consequence of her actions. In fact, she knowingly will hurt them if it suits her purpose. Her acknowledgement to her mother today that Kanak has always shielded her...shows that although in deep slumber...her conscience is not dead yet...but she is a bad girl.

Kanak acts foolishly...however, she never hurts anyone but herself by the choices she makes. In fact, she is always ready to speak her mind and stand up for what she thinks is right.

As for Kanak Mishtan Bhandar...you have to remember that the shop was obtained fraudulently from Bhabo. Yes, Uma did not commit the fraud...but the fact still remains that trickery was used.

As per the CCTV footage...there is strong circumstantial evidence that lays the blame at his feet. Kanak doesn't have the advantage of spoilers that we viewers have...😆...so she is trying to obtain the shop in the best legal way she knows how, without her family finding out. This is important to her because Bhabo has already had a heart attack over the shop once.

Do you think if she had been forthright with Uma and explained the situation to him...he would have just handed the shop over to her?

I doubt it...as far as he is concerned he obtained the shop legally and paid good money for it.

And in any case...we'll never know now will we?...because before Kanak could lay her case before anyone...Uma allegedly saw several collective "signs from God" and picked Kanak up and forcefully married her...was that okay? What does that make Uma?
