he is deliberately putting himself in trouble...to his luck bhabho's shop papers were with him otherwise he would be in jail by now...there are people who do weird things due to old beliefs but those are mostly illiterate ones like the ones they showed in dabh in maasa's village where they do whatever their sarpanch orders them n kills whoever love out of caste and never let police enter the village...but uma is an exceptional case..

I asked this question because is easy for us to understand Kanak's heart ... When she know Uma didn't guilty about KMB's paper, probably she'll forgive Uma ... Kanak has a softie heart, she didnt angry to Payal, Ved & others, even she forgive Bhabho & still expect her love

But how's the way Kanak can changes Uma's mind about his beliefs??

About writter, i think they know what they did, they build this controvesial character to makes the story getting interested, that's why we still watches the show until now

i dnt know exactly which episode.yaar..it was before umakanaks.marrg..when bhabhoo fixed kanaks marriage to somebody else..that time.i think..

but i think writer has portrayed umas character very well..i think basically that scene was to establish to.audience that.uma could go.to.any lengths.to.follow his dharam..marriage and social customs based on dharam..he is blindly following it...and hence the way he forced marrg to kanak...though.after marryinh kanak he is sort of softening up...its bound to be knw..when u get a life partner u do change a bit..and he is in love with her too..so more influence...

Sandhya, I like your perception about Dharam & try to understand it... then Dharam is means the circle of life? For the lion deer's case, the weak has accept their fate to give in to the strong?

Agree with you Deeps, its feels so dangerous ... That's why we need the law to balance the Dharam, because some people can abused it for their benefit & as a human, we cant accept this happen in our community

Agree with you Deeps, its feels so dangerous ... That's why we need the law to balance the Dharam, because some people can abused it for their benefit & as a human, we cant accept this happen in our community
