It's a wonderful comment a logical and sensible approach to the whole scenario.
Rightly said that one can't have the cake and eat it too. One needs to let go of something to achieve something. But we as audiences have a lot more to see than Kanak.
I am not siding of defending Kanak. But imagine being in Kanak's shoes, what does she know about US, what has she seen other than a tyrant. A real daku who usurp other people's land and stuff. An alien from another planet who got Payal married to a picture. Does she have an insight into US, his actions or anything.
On the same note being in US' shoes, he is clueless about everything. Why the revenge or why his wife is bat shit crazy. He also cannot forcefully marry and have a happily ever after without any hurdles trials and error.
Both of them are in the wrong. They both need to understand the situation they are in and find a solution to at least be civil with each other. If Kanak is not understanding then US is also not trying enough. And when US makes her understand Kanak refuses to let him inside her mind. They both are amazingly against each other in their own ways.
Hi Blue🤗back😊
That's exactly what I was trying to say, they both deserve what's coming their way and unless they both make an effort to make things better between themselves, nothing will change about either one of them. There is movie dialog, If you change nothing, nothing will change.
What doesn't make sense to me is why is Kanak making all these efforts to make Uma bend his dharm if she only cares about the papers and leave once she has them. I wouldn't say because unknowingly her heart is in the marriage, but only to satisfy her ego that she won.
At least, Uma is trying to change her (for good or bad) because he wants a future with her. She doesn't even want a future with him, but wants to change/bend him in 20 days and then leave? Outright idiotic.
If you think about it, what will she win even if she wins these stupid challenges? That Uma and family will leave the way of dharm and become like her? Start eating onions? Stop waking up at 4am? Payal's freedom? What? Absolutely nothing.
If she won't be there to see it through that people understand the real meaning of dharm and not follow it blindly and rigidly then why even take the initiative? They sure won't reform in 17 days then what? She will leave them as they were right?
If I was there just to get papers, I would have taken the signed papers when Uma offered and left. They will think of her the same way when she leaves in 20 days as they would have back then. Her staying 20 extra days won't change her image after she fleas with the papers.
