Am I the only one who feels this serial is too irritating

I have been a big fan of Diya aur bati. The main thing I liked in it is positivity of the show. I starting watching this show with the same hope of positive feeling, but sorry to say nothing coming out of it. The Kanak girl who is told to have her parents characteristics, is nothing more trying to tell a lie all the time, and doing absolutely ridiculous things. However, hard they are trying to convince that she is doing rt, it is not coming through. Her mother's character stood in our minds because she stood with truth. Every day I watch with the hope something will change, but one 3 consistent items do far
- Absolute silliness, no reason why
- Lying about everything, completely spoiling the values given to her
- a must have been a dog in the previous janma, as she is on constant bite session.

Super slow narration. Today Dhal dabba is open, tomorrow it is put in container, day after tomorrow water is poured to clean it.

They need to speed it up a bit

Ahaha 🤣 dal dabba! But you're right. There's a kind of silly and that's cute, and then there is Kanak which is just over the top.

Values or otherwise, Kanak's characterization/level of maturity does not ring with the characteristics/maturity level of a 20 year old who has spent a good part of her life in a hostel shunned from her near and dear ones. By experience, such people show a great degree of maturity. Well this one I guess is the exception to the rule.

And I begin quoting my favorite author, Jane Austen: 'Sorry to be harsh on one of my kind, whatever grouse she has with her husband, the entire household should not be brought into play.'

Secondly it gets my hackles up, when women are portrayed as being brainless twits and to add insult to injury, the man quotes - Auraton ke dimaag ghutne mein hotein hain (and so were the dialogues penned by a man).

DEAR CVs your script at the very outset outlined Kanak's character - a greenhorn. One who reacts first before thinking through the repercussions of her actions. Her plans are elaborate (means to an end) to ultimately get US punished (does not seem to matter who meats it out). And she fervently hopes for him to see the err of his ways. And this is not going to happen, when he is aggrandized by the woman of the house (MassiSA) for the last two decades at least (Uma is 30).

We got it and we also got US's maturity to handle things his way. Does something at a catastrophic level has to happen before we get our act together, then so be it, bring it on than dragging us through this torture on a daily basis. This cat and mouse game is not adding any value and at times I cringe at the Kanak's immaturity that has been scripted. Major case of heart burn from my end. Kudos to these actors that can pull off such scenes with this much of conviction.

I was expecting some thought provoking dialogues and interaction between the leads and the other characters. In vain. The Nayee Soch tagline seems to pop up at regular intervals after testing the tolerance levels of us viewers to the nth degree.

Well that was me spewing my gut. Having a great belly laugh the Open Daal Dabba crack. Have a great Wednesday.

No offence to u bt yes pls refrain frm using term like dog fr ny character..

Pace of every daily show z slow if u wish u can watch otherwise switch to other ..

i totally agree with u,,,,i started watching it for avinesh but the script is so substandard i feel avinesh's calibre has been wasted. first of all i dont like the jodi of kanak-uma...mature viewers have nothing to look forward to...some young viewers seem to like the jodi but their advice to switch to other serials if we dont like this doesnt make sense...who are the channel people targeting in the 12 noon slot if not some middleaged homemakers?

Don't get me wrong. I am not blaming any actor, they are all pretty good. Especially Uma Shankar and Massi sa. I won't say I am impressed with Kanak, as I find it hard to decipher her expressions at times. I agree girls in 20s are much more matured. If she is really educated, there was other ways to stand at her point. The Sita and gita act is truly irritating at times.
I just think actors are doing their best to cover up the flawed script. No family will sit quietly like this after knowing their girl is married. Ha ha not sure what Ved is doing. Police officer of no use other than fooling around with his brother, neither could save his so called lover, not his sister.

Thx for the suggestion. I think I have no intention of comparing with other shows. But I do love "Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage " on Sony. I never wanted to watch that show to start with, since this show got soo boring I started looking out for another one, and I find it far more interesting. I just put forth my thoughts to let the CV know that there is still chances of improvement, before all steam is lost. We can only tell out thought it is up to them to improve or not.

When I put myself in Kanak's shoes I understand her frustration. Myself, I would act out too, wouldn't care for his family, just cuz he says we're married we are?! What if I don't want to be part of it. So now I justify her behaviour.

But as a viewer, who already wants the leads to come together it get frustrating to watch them at war. Actors are brilliant.

They should Kanak full of tricks in her pocket from day one and she's still doing that. It's just that the two aren't trying to talk it out. I wish that Kanak tells the truth, asks for the shop back, tries to make him understand. He already apologised for the way this marriage took place, now she just needs to make him see why it wasn't a good idea to do this.

For now I'm okay with whatever is going on but the alcohol jalebi's I will be angry if Kanak actually makes those because that is going too far.
