i would have done all 1to 4 but insted of 5 i would have called ved and vansh and beat him black and blue and taunt massisa and suman too much and irritate them that they never ll want uma married again

1.Firstly when the dude was proposing I would have said I was married to a guy who is an IPS😛 Bachpaan ki shaadi.😆

2. I would have cooperated. Cooked them dinner with soap! While they were in the bathroom made a run for it. 🤣🤣🤣

3. I would have told them my family is into reverse daheej! Had him sign over Bhabho ki Dukhaan papers and taken a ton of jewelry. Then tried to hook him up with Palomi🤡

4. I would have demanded a private conversation with my family. They don't get to evasdrop. Told whole UMA Saga to my sorry bros and asked them to come with entire Pushkar ki police force and all of mom's police buddies.

5. Actually - I would have kept the phone and called one of my mommy's police buddies to begin with. That way no family is involved or hurt.

what a thoughtful post.

I agree with the all of you.

Firstly, its not a good idea to leave the house on the assumption that Bhabo could not possibly sell the shop.. I would seek clarity.

I would definitely at least tell one family member where i am going and what i intend to do or even better take one of the brothers with me.

Thirdly, if somehow i did end up in a situation where I am forced to marry someone i do not know or have never seen before (even if he is drop dead gorgeous and the nicest person- one must understand that his life style and thinking is completely different and forced marriage is NOT healthy).

I would tell him I am engaged to someone else. Kanak was indeed engaged to someone else and could have bought this up. Uma lives by strong principles, it would have been interesting to see how he would have responded or prove that what he is doing is still right given the facts.

I would never accept force marriage. Even widout papers i would hv ran away.kahi ussne mera chamatkaar kar diya toh.how ll i know tht he ll touch me or not (logic).a person who can marry forcefully can do anything.

Good Lord! didn't have idea this situation could have so many answers ! though they sounded so funny😆😆 , they were quite practical and logical too 👏..anyways had fun guys.. let's have more of these kinda discussions in the forum..

P.s. I loved the word chamatkar😆😆.. apni heroine would be thinking, "pyar se darr nahi lagta saheb, chamatkar se lagta hai"

Firstly I would do exactly what Kanak did.. Play the game while looking for an out!!

Now that I have been able to connect with my friend Arvind (the lawyer) and found out that the papers are genuine, I would no longer need to play the part of dutiful wife. I would let Arvind know what has happened to me and seek police/court assistance to get the leech off me. Next comes media and women's rights group (that is exactly why they are in existence, to assist women who have been wronged due to societal or religious pressure).

And if my family would not support me through it all, I would stand up for myself. Prove my beliefs right. Be an independent woman.

Those are my reactions to his actions...

Then again his reactions are yet to be seen to my actions... Since he like to be forceful.. I wouldn't put it past him to force himself on me, giving me some ass like reason - tum toh meri ho!!

He might succeed at first but that wouldn't break me... It will only strengthen me.. Next it will be my knife and his balls, soon to be detached and ground into a pulp..
