Weekend 'what if'?

Hi friends,

Lets wile away the weekend blues some.

This weekend I have been wondering, what if Kanak had not seen Gabba sa in Umashanaker's house? How long would she have held her mantle and stood outside of the house? How long would she have refused to do the greh pravesh?

If she held out for a while, how would Uma have reacted? Would he have gotten angry again and carried Kanak forcibly into the house? Would something else have implored her to enter the house?

That all being stated, what if Kanak hadn't seen Bhabho's shop papers in the pile of dicuments? What would her course of action have been? How would she have talked to Gabba or Uma to understand what happened with the shop?

I believe that Uma, though is supposed to be a 'perfect man' is quite imperfect. He does not have a good handle on his temper, especially of things do not go his way.

I almost see him losing patience and carrying or dragging Kanak into the house.

Didnt u c that episode where his maasi ma says that before US needed me n after marriage he needs me more...seems to me kind of over pampered n mislead child...

If kanak wouldnt have seen gabassa then she would still have done gp as she was dreaming of him as ravan torturing his family.

Agar Gabbasa nhi dikhte Kanak ko..To ye show hi nhi banta😆

I think she would have stood there until she would have fainted due to exhaustion and then he would have had to carry her inside.

I just love how aptly you stated that Uma is an overgrown child. I gree. Everyone has catered to him and worshipped him his entire life. Kanak is the rude awakening to reality that Uma needs.

He is not the bad sort, per say. But his archaic beliefs need someone like Kanak to introduce him to this century.
