TSMSPJep:29*5.5.17:My Impressions*curative measures in place..

In life, humans are subjected to injuries, ranging from physical, mental or emotional traumas .It's an integral part of our wear and tear. Those of us who desire self maintenance are the ones who want to go on living , to make most of life even after suffering a setback. One has to accept remedial instances when offered by well wishers. This may be worthwhile for one who is in need of emotional smarting. Let it be known too, that injury to the body will heal in time if the appropriate therapy is applied. However a wounded spirit will require an admixture of medicine plus a touch of love, to mend abrasions of the inner self. Today's episode, from the start showcases , injury and an attempt at nursing.

The healing touch that in turn creates a sweet pain of some foreign sentiment. Uma himself being an ayervedic medicine man dispenses many a cures via his fingertips. Today his exposed torso awaits her touch to heal that wound that she herself gave him. Her bite was not an admission of ecstasy rendered in the privacy, for the love of him! But rather a public outcry against the gross misconduct he committed against Kanak. Yet today he stands before her, his back without cover! Her declaration before all to nurse his wound , keeps him safe. Kanak looks at the savage gash she gave him, and there is hesitation in her, to touch the awful beast ,who by all standards manhandled her publically. Yet she keeps her purpose in mind, and his well toned bare back, interests her in the least. The metal key that dangles on a string from his back is the key to unlock what she aims for! The deeds! and her liberty. Uma senses her modesty, and offers to apply the curative paste himself! But Kanak insists, and her fingers eventually move in an unstoppable circular motion. Uma's eyes close in sheer bliss, the piercing ache of the wound is replaced by the sweet pain of quiet delight. Her fingertips on his broken skin have the power to heal and penetrate right down to the very inner recesses of his soul.. ahhh! his heart murmurs their melody. The inexplicable enchanted bond betwixt the lamp and the wick. Kanak seems lost in thought.. is it the key or his person? She has to act! and never short of pulling ideas out of the air! she commands stop right there! be still! Or else the mosquitoes!! Uma heels to her command . May be its some kinky game she plays? Little does he know that the beautiful golden mosquito is Kanak herself! stealthily she cups her hands over the dangling key, ready to pilfer it from behind his back! Once again, Maasi turns up like the dark angel from hell! raises a disapproving eyebrow at seeing them in this private interaction! did she interrupt? Kanak spontaneously says yes! Both are put in place! they'll have five days at hand to apply healing ointments upon themselves! For now Uma needs to get his act together and get a move on!! Uma startles and literally moves on! the key too slides out of Kanak's cupped palms!! Once again she fouled up in the game she plays! Kanak is left twiddling her thumbs!! She may have cured Ravan's gash for now.. but her wound of being unloved by Bhabo still smarts in her. Yet now Kanak begins to appreciate that her remedy comes from Uma.

Maasi can't put her finger on it! but she does note a hasty change in Kanak's rebellious behaviour to one of compliance. A certain acceptance towards Uma, somewhat odd. Maasi is one character who has her eyes and ears open at all time.. her role is to manage the in house group dynamics ! Payal knows better, however traumatic things make look one has to accept one's situation. Payal in her muffled tone , gingerly expresses the fate of many girls like herself who suffer the lasting trauma caused by the ills of false sense of family honour values that are practiced under the name of custom and faith. Can girls like Payal ever expect to receive curative treatment ? or do they suffer silently for the rest of their lives?

At Rathi house the men, two young, Ved and Vansh , and one old babbsa rally around each other to find the best curative measure to cure Bhabo from her age old obsessive memories of Suraj and Sandhya. The sweet shop is the remedial outlet for the Rathi family ,it's function or dysfunction is crucial to family members. The shop as it stands today has emotional attachments with the Rathis. It provides healing to some and injures others. For Bhabo its a living memory of her beloved deceased children Suraj and Sandhya , a reason for her to live on. For Kanak it's the dream cure from the rejection she suffers at the hands of her Bhabo. For Meenakshi , Vansh and Ved , babbsa, it's a cause of stress in their lives , as its more trouble than a blessing. It endangers the life of their matriarchal head , who lives a life of make belief! Deluded! and not all there. The sweet shop creates much activity around it ! a search is in place for the papers, the papers are expected to bring healing to part of the family and more grief to the others.

A scene, over played and exaggerated by Meenakshi.. the search is on for the shops deeds! In a mock seedy conspiracy scene the plans for Ved and Vansh to raid the shop for its papers is hatched! Ved and Vansh to carry out the theft . But Meenakshi suffers a headache when she finds out the papers are not there! the question is where are they? All this frantic search is following one possible remedy ! to sell the shop! it's a pity their search is geared to buy their comfort and cure! On the other hand Kanak is keen to pull Uma Shankar apart! to reclaim the shop's paper's , with a view to keeping the shop and using it a therapy to treat both her and Bhabo! What a play! of contradictory mindsets! Here the medication instead of clearing the infection is more likely to have massive side effects in both sides of the Rathi family. But Kanak s confectionery mart's gloomy edifice still manages to awaken in its owners hearts , a search for the revered memories of the lamp and the wick!

Young Suman is constantly in the business of offering emotional remedies to Palomi's quiet sentimental sufferings. Suman's childish moaning, and cajoling Maasi to let Palomi to come for the trip! are turned down! Suman is most put out. When Kanak makes the careless mistake of giving Palomi a sari meant for the needy! Suman hit the roof! Palomi's status in the house is revealed by massi .. she is a woman under the care and protection of Uma Shankar !and as such has all her needs met by Uma ! does this suggest that Palomi was destitute, homeless, threatened , or simply chose to give up her life in devotion of her Lord? But one thing is clarified that Uma Shankar has allowed her sanctuary! A permanent remedial measure for some past trauma..

The best remedy one can give a paralyzed loved one is home care, keeping the loved one in familiar surroundings which the patient identifies as it's home. Uma takes his wife Kanak to take permission and seek blessings from his still Maasa. The two woman communicate with their tearful ears. Uma's hands give curative treatment to his mothers inactive hand. Her tear slips out of the corner of her eye to show ,his touch of love reaches her ticking heart. Kanak overwhelmed once again by this inactive yet revered figure.. she touches maasa's feet to gather her cure. Once again this mother's tear , purifies Kanak's soul from ill thoughts.. and she senses a healing within her. That a motherless child receives when communicating with a mother figure.. tear to tear a prayer is spoken from a daughter for an ailing mother" may god grant you sound health soon". A rare moment where Uma sees the sincerely beleaguered side of Kanak. Uma's soul too feels somewhat healed. Hamlet53, 6.5.17

Interesting episode regards finding cures, plus putting in place preventive measures more also about on going festering wounds.. especially Payal, who appears settled in her new life. Palomi' s status is revealed. Tomorrow , she loses the plot! Goes wild!! The search for the shops papers are vital! But are out of the hands of the owners. Uma like yesterday ,today too is in charge of the Rathi's shop. Kanak is fighting fit! Her active search seems to have come to a halt.. but the young lioness by no means is giving up.. she is just giving thoughts to finding new effective cures for her problems..

Dear all have a fantastic weekend.. love hammie

Zakham nasur na banjaye ae dil sambhal jana...
Wafa ki aad me yar ne khanzar thame hue hai😳

He cannot suspect her even if she is at wrong time at wrong place.
Uma needs to understand that no body can change in a blink of eye.
I am afraid his faith and trust in his wife is going to give. him big dent for lifetime.
Earlier i thought its going to be interesting track of ego clash. But no...this wont be thay easy as we interpret. Uma has a trust on her, his love is blind. And i am sure it would be very painful to watch him getting shattered with broken promises and hopes.

Kuch fasle to hai tay krne ke liye...
Itna bhi kya ruthna ke dil ki aawaz bhi ansuni ho jaye...

Kanak : she has to understand that she is cheating someone who loves her. And the day she understands this . she will be happy to memories of marriage and not regret thay how it occured.

Rihah nahi ...kaid ho chuke hai dil...
Palke band hoke bhi wo dikhe..to samjhna pyar hai😳

Kanak : doesnt love him but shuts her eyes when she touches him.

Uma: loves her but lays rule on her when she urges him.

Hammie hammie hammie,
Another fantastic impression. 👏 Playing with the theme CURE.
Uma , the vaidhji himself was not keen to see the wound healed cz this is the first gift given by his wife.I remember Shakuni in mahabharat, who never let his wound b healed.cz that wound remined him of the injustice occured with his sister, the sister whom he loved so much...anway coming back to the scene.umas expression was as his inside was healed.u say he had that guilt in his mind that he literally forced a girl into marriage, almost abducted her basically.dont think he understands.I feel he needs an eye opener.to see things in kanaks pov n want him to repent.

Palomi k story samajh nehi ata mujhe.but abtak all I can tell that she is a weapon ready under the veil of masima, and she can use the weapon against kanak anytime, when she feels the need to pull the strings.

Bhabo k dukan, her craziness for it.I guess I have faced this in real life when we have to chose things for our elderly.we have to chose between two things.either their health or to let them flow with their attachments.ved n vansh had their own choice.now wonder how kanak will think.I feel she will support bhabo in the shop.

The last scene was the most special scene of the entire show.I absolutely loved it a healer touch for both a daughter who never had a mother and a mother who could never hug her own son. A really touchy scene.kanaks wound seems to b healed for a while, those tears were not fake, uma too sees.she may put up an act but this mother knows this daughter by heart.

Phew.a long reply so that it gets ur attention.huh.
Take care.keep rocking in this forum.

Wonderful post Hammie 😊

Few of my pointers ( 2 episodes as usual 😆)

1. I am liking US's characterisation. He is Orthodox, he is traditional, he is non progressive and staunch but there's certain honesty in him. I truly appreciate it. Unlike Kanak's his has transparency. He is non egoistic. He doesn't understand blur and complex things... And Tadaaa!!!!! Here's the bait. He's unable to understand Kanak. It can be very well assumed that she's new and not a good communicator so chances of him being naive are more. But the person who's sharanarthi I.e Paulomi enjoys the same fate. The lad fails to understand her too.

2. First I had thought Meenakshi had played foul. But her lack of knowledge regarding the papers is now making me scratch my head. My next suspect is Vikram 😆 cz he's the only one who's not shown in this "sell the shop" mission ( as of yet). "Kaagaj kaha hai?" Meenakshi's question is answered. Kanak makes the appearance at the right time.

3. I am unusually liking Maasi sa's character. 😆. First the actress is too good. Her diction, poise, mannerisms are perfect!!!! I believe in US's household only she is the one who uses her brain after US himself. The manager of the household, the matriarch, the guide... I see her more towards Bhabho's character in DABH. Possessive, focussed, alert, strict and centric koi makkhi bhi iske haath se nahi choot Sakti.

4. Kanak's and US's mother's scene was heartwarming. I am glad she spoke something so clear, crisp and loud in front of US. Much much needed. This reminds me of sonam kapoor's starrer movie "Khoobsurat". I have already bought this!!!! She'll make maasa walk... I see maasa in place of babasa of DABH. The dependent lady seems to be broad minded, progressive and compassionate.

5. Hammie the theme of this post is perfect... Curative measures!!! But one can only cure a problem when the problem is known... and here everybody fails except KANAK... Ved Vansh Babasa Meenakshi all want to get rid of the trouble but fail to understand that the cure isn't permanent. Same with Maasa. US treating her. Am damn sure more than physical agonies the old lady is down with mental and emotional traumas. No one is able to understand except KANAK...Her tears are visible only when it's Kanak... And her wish was so heartfelt and true!!! "Main Bhagwan se dua karungi ki aap jaldi theek ho jaye". Paulomi's issues are visible to all but they lack the understanding. That might be Maasi sa, Suman or Saras. The scene where she scratches the curtain with knife was an eye-opener. Kanak has sensed something. Even US has found smthn strange... The next is Payal... Again diseases are known but no cure available... It was important for Kanak to be a mixture of Suraj Sandhya's qualities. Her one half analyses and the other half devises a solution. US's family is treading on a path with many diseases but no Curative measures.

6. At times it's good to be far away. It's good to be an outsider. If you hold an object very close to your eyes, you cannot see it clearly. But the same if you hold at a distance you get the clarity. It was good that Bhabho kept Kanak far from the house. So now when she's back she's almost an outsider who visited the house some 2 or 4 months every year. Only she sees the blemishes. Only she can clean those stains. Very interestingly Ved and Vansh pointed it out to babasa as how they weren't blind and saw his love for Bhabho. But once again all the wounds aren't visible. Kanak saw them and went on a mission. Same thing with US's family. She understood US has a major issue. She understood Maasa had some unexplainable grief. Suman the motormouth needs the right path ( wear some nice clothes, for instance 😆). I wonder if Bhabho and US will be able to reciprocate this quality of Kanak.

7. "Bindnisa ye aise kaise ulajh gayi tum uma ke Saath" splendid dialogue 👏. Kanak has indirectly invited trouble by taking the key and then the papers 😆 ( yeah she got the papers) and as per new promo she's on a run. So Kanak rocked, US shocked 😆. This track will be interesting... Kanak wants to hire a lawyer. Now case mein case. If she gets back with the papers will Rathi family stop their stupid plan? Or will go on to sell the shop and mess up things? If US and Kanak stand face to face for the shop, what about their wedding? If the legal track comes in picture in no time Kanak might play on the divorce card.

8. Whatever the fate of the shop might be, Kanak has unleashed the hidden in Paulomi and Payal. And am very happy about this. The other members specifically Maasi sa can see it. But US is missing it big time. Paulomi might need time but he can notice Payal only if Ved enters the picture. It's important for US to see both the sides to take a decision. Kanak has seen both worlds but her goal didn't change. It's time for Uma now.

9. If Uma follows her to Pushkar till her house chances are there that it will take DDLJ mode... Kanak might realize her feelings or their connection if Mayank re-enters the picture.

10. Paulomi Vansh though look like a potential pair 😆

The way umma Shankar marry kanak is just un acceptable ...this is a forced marriage ...which should not be presented as something very classy ...entertaining...dreamy ...romantic ...act...I want kanak to stand for herself ...but I m scared when bhabhi comes to know abt this marriage she might force kanak to accept it ...which is totally wrong ...force marriage have no justification ...neither some one religious believe justify it nor simply bc hero is handsome and good looking so this marriage is justify no...not at all...uptill now cvs show very beautiful scenes btw kanak and umma but I don't enjoy them simply bc it's a force marriage.

hi, i completely agree with you that one should never show such scenes where woman are abused and treated like toy. But then cinema and shows are based on reality. We can never deny this fact. Althought in real or reel once you are tied up whether willing or unwilling you are tagged as married. Even if you break it you will be called widow or abandon woman. Many womans do accept their marriage. And inspire by that this track too unfolds one part of our society. The only cool breeze here is uma and kanak chemistry. Let us trust our cv they definitely have some plan for our pair.
Till then we can enjoy as story unfolds.

And also i second you with kanak not easily manofying.
I want uma to belofy papad...
Rasta aasan ho...

yes that's true.. but surely he knows that she accepts not the forced marriage with an open heart.. they will both have to allow each other time to understand each other... although.. inthis situation uma will have to do more to win her trust..

Kuch fasle to hai tay krne ke liye...
Itna bhi kya ruthna ke dil ki aawaz bhi ansuni ho jaye...
her dil is overpowered by what her mind wants.. the key!
Kanak : she has to understand that she is cheating someone who loves her. And the day she understands this . she will be happy to memories of marriage and not regret thay how it occured.
good point... but she has to love him, trust him enough to understand his love.. she sees only force in this marriage!
Rihah nahi ...kaid ho chuke hai dil...
Palke band hoke bhi wo dikhe..to samjhna pyar hai😳
for her hooded eyes see only the key which will get for her the love of bhabo..which she missed out on all these years..

Kanak : doesnt love him but shuts her eyes when she touches him.
yes... and sees the key only.. her goal!
Uma: loves her but lays rule on her when she urges him.
yes.. in laying the rule..he surrenders to his love for him
