Humans are curious naturally. As such, life is one big search in a medley of events, circumstances, coincidences. In this jumble of life, there are those who seek measures to better their existing way of life. Many look for peace of mind through the mediums of personal faith, or chosen harmful way outs. Many seek to either quench their ego or to fulfil their potentials by making a mark in a variety of areas like, politics, arts and philosophy, scientific research, etc. There are those too, who still seek a worthy purpose for their life. Blessed are those who seek and then find their goal that is aimed to fulfil another's joy rather than their own. However in this combination of what we see as ongoing day and night, not all can understand the objective of their life. For as much as destiny reveals and shows the functions of life to humans .It's the one's with intuitive powers of discernment who can actually grasp their function in the works of providence. So many can see aims but only few can understand .. thus they may go on searching till they find what they are looking for. The episode for me, plays on the word, seekers .. as to search. Alongside it also contrasts, the word keeper. As in, to possess and maintain something. The episode thus is a combination of seeking and keeping. Kanak is in search of her purpose, to get her Bhabo's shop back from illegal possession. Uma is the momentary keeper of those crucial papers..
Uma's search for his ideal life partner according to the signs of the scriptures is over. He now is the proud custodian, protector and keeper of what he set out to seek. Kanak's entry , is much sought after by family ,community and Uma, but is only done on the basis of what Kanak seeks , Gabbasa the keeper of Bhabo's papers. Kanak crosses the threshold , totally in the dark about what formal ritual she honours. For her heart seeks only him? a man? All equate the man to be Uma! But Kanak's eyes search only for Gabbasa. Kanak sees all play the game of misconception.. she decides to play along. Searching for the ring ritual! follows post Kanak's entry. Uma searches for the ring in the scented milky platter. His finger tips seek the feel of her seemingly feeble search of her finger tips.. sweet ritual that promotes reaching out to their forthcoming union. Uma's heart searches for her responses, of some attraction towards him. He seeks subtly, the unexplained magic of her sandalwood scented finger tips ,as they gently tap and brush past his fingers tips! Now that he has found his love , he intends to keep her love till eternity! The ice breaking, ring searching ritual for Kanak, is another rite where she jumps through the hoops. For her eyes only scan the saunter of the old man on the first floor. Ring search is the last thing on her mind. Kanak's broken concentration , gives Uma victory ! as he finds the coil ring! and with it Kanak's everlasting love ,according to spectators popular belief. Kanak still on the lookout for the old man, couldn't care for popular belief.. Uma can be the keeper of his sentiments, as they do not match with what she seeks. She needs to look for a plausible reason which make her into the purposeful seeker.
Its common sense normal people search for how others need to be addressed . Uma seeks her name ,which Kanak refuses to divulge as her attention is only focussed on the man she seeks. Uma too seeks to give her ease and comfort , as he considers himself to be her ordained keeper! Kanak on seeing Payal finds and latches on to the opportunityof making her way up to the first floor corridor! Natures call! Seems plausible enough! Palomi meanwhile still seeks her significance in Uma's life now that he is actually Kanak's keeper! She is concerned about the right amount of salt in his life..to me he never missed her or that flavour in his life! He is more into seeking and keeping the sweetness of business prospects!
Rani is keeper of the divine flower, she sought from Lord Shiva's altar during Shivratri celebrations! Yet again, she gives a way out to the Rathi's searching for fulfilment of prayer requests! Much so for Meenakshi, who seeks the exemplary daughter in law for her son Golu! Vansh in this case only searches for his sister Kanak's welfare , with a view to alerting her about getting herself the divine flower that fulfils goals! All in good time Kanak will get more enlightenment than she bargains for..
Small talk between the two brides of the house. What Payal seeks in this family and now , she too is the keeper of these ideal practices of this family. They live by rituals and traditions and are governed by simplicity. But Kanak is not out seeking for the larger than life persona of Uma shanker, theLord and master of the household ,in fact all of Ladnun.For Kanak, only seeks an audience with the old man! The coil ring provides the diversion Kanak desperately seeks, to ward off Payal!The coil ring rolls off! Kanak's life too momentarily is like a series of connected loops.. spirals all linked to her Bhabo's sweet shop. Finally she finds what she seeks! a private vital conversation with this old man. She finds more than she came searching for! Her misunderstanding is erased.The old man is a mere servant! The mastermind! the boss! the cheat! the ravan! in fact is none other than this husband of hers! Uma Shankar!
To remind her,that he is her keeper! Uma pushes back the coil ring on her finger. A firm reminder that his life, their bond now remains entwined in a tight gold coil round her precious finger! Cold hand signifies her cold heart,but his mindset interprets it as her fear of him. Far from it! It's more like cold blooded loathing for him! Maasi searches for the new brides presence at the food partaking rituals. For her, Kanak's cold hands and her fear is seen as a new brides chaste modesty.!
Kanak's search still has a gap!.. Uma, blessings by Lord Shiva are revealed before Kanak to be blessed by her hands! Everything, that now Uma will share with her as his better half. In love with his sandalwood fragrance wife, he declares it's his whole life he decides to share with her! In silence her numb finger tips, tap the bundles of property possession deeds he holds..till her eyes behold the bundle under her finger tips! Her search is over! Bhabo's papers!! Kanak's search may be over. But the revelation is yet to come to her! now she understands the sign's why her Lord Shiva brought her into this house! In this way! To find Bhabo's papers!! Now she sees ,how her seeking has come about??? The Lord's hand is behind it.. But Uma Shankar she still holds as a criminal! Kanak now wants to get her hands not just finger tips on the papers! Next time her hands will not bless but snatch! what belongs to her Bhabo the true keeper of the sweet shop not Uma Shankar!
For me its was a continiuty of yesterday's episode , but with one big revelation as I see it in kanak.. other than the worldly gain.. she gains a spirtual awareness too, that her being in uma Shankar house has the will of Lord Shiva ,so she can realize her purpose .. part of her search is over.. it will come to completion when the papers get into bhabo's hands.. Meanwhile , as we see in the precap, Uma will have to put more effort into searching for Kanak's love ? devotion? obedience? He will have to search ways to find favour in her eyes.. if he wants to be her keeper ! keep watching.. and a good weekend to you all hamlet53 29.4.17
