And yes!!! It's season 2 already. Fingers crossed for a wonderful soraj and sanjh piyaji Jodi.
Hope they recreate the soraj sandhya diya baati magic. With the right amount of subtlety and innocence and sweetness.

Anyways. This post here is for one and only UMAShankar- Avinesh rekhi... oh dear let me count count till 100 to calm down a bit. Yaaar he is such hotness ki dukaan ... I have been an avid fan of him for the longest time ever, but this time the temptation and temperature is breaking the thermometer... that Body, the calm gestures the subtle strong voice and OMG soft chiseled face. All his scenes in the water were electrifying... he was in water but the fire was flaming ( no matter how much he tried to douse by immersing again n again 😆 ) ...He might look a bit old for pairing with Kanak but dearies this post is only for fangirling the handsomely amazing Avinesh <3

Come on people join the fangirling. Will discuss storyline later when it unravels 😉

Haye Avinesh is getting on my nerves day by day (in a good way 😉 ) his screen presence is a bit limited but still he steals the show anyway. But more of him is coming. Kanak sunder dulhan has already made her way to him 😆

I didn't watch Diya Bati but watching this show only for him... waiting when the focus of the show turns to him... the character he is playing is quite cold but he's sooo hot... they should atleast have a repeat of the show at night... i get to see it on Hotstar... but repeat all those scenes he's shown 😛

I rarely watched diya bati.
Avinesh is the only reason I am watching this one. As you have already pointed out dear that his character is cold but Avinesh is HOT 😉 it's an amazing combination and I really look forward to see him playing out his character fantastically.

I am yet to see a repeat on air. I watch online replaying all of Uma shankar scenes 😉

I Watched A Couple Of His Serials.
Now Iam Looking Foreward To Kanak&Shakar's Pairing.

So I've kept up with the story of Diya Aur Bati, but never entirely. I started watching this season, mainly because I was intrigued with the storyline, and I have been hooked. I think the characterization, the plot, and cinematography has been breathtaking. Also, can I just say, I am so attracted to his level of faith? I mean i know there is so much progression yet to be shown in the story as well as each of their characters, but how he takes all these subtle hints and accepts them is so beautiful. I especially was so excited at the scene when he was leaving Pushkar, and had a jolt of thought. He yearned for the chandan larki, but knew that time would arrive when she would come to him, because it was meant to be. And then when that scene happened with Kanak's red dupatta, he was like "shes arrived" I have to say, so far, this season has me hooked. Can I also add, how amazing the title track is? I am waiting for someone to upload the full version, high quality.

I can fully understand how hooked you are to the show. We are on the same level soul sisters 😉
I actually love your analysis of Uma Shankar longing yet waiting for the right time to meet chandan mehak wali larki. Although I stay out of faith topics. But yes his level does intrigue me.
