Krishna Raj Kapoor
The original show man's wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor was Raj Kapoor's relative. She was actually his distantly related aunt (bua)!
Thank God, she was young enough to be his wife. After they got married, she became his constant support system. It's been said that once she left the house because of Raj Kapoor's affairs and link ups but returned after her father-in-law Prithviraj Kapoor intervened. Always in her trademark pearls and diamond jewellery, she is truly one of a kind. The way she brought up her children is something still admired by Bollywood folks! Indeed a lot to learn from a lady who handled the heavy pressure so very well!
Shobha Kapoor
Shobha and Jeetendra had a common group of friends and they met each other at Marine Lines. Shobha was a young airhostess while Jeetendra had done some small time movies. Jeetendra promised her that after 'Bidaai' becomes a hit they will get married. And that actually happened! Shobha is a business woman and is running the soap factory Balaji Telefilms pretty well, along with daughter Ekta Kapoor. And even though her size has ballooned up many times over, she continues to be a party animal. She is known to hold kitty parties in her bathroom which is as big as her bedroom! And with all the money on her, she loves to show off. She wears as many diamonds as she can and paints her face with bright make up. Never mind the fact that it actually gives her that extra terrestrial look!
Babita Kapoor
They were college sweethearts and Randhir married Babita against his parents' wish. They also acted in a couple of movies together. As per Kapoor Khandaan tradition, Babita left her career and they had two daughters Karisma and Kareena. After that the two parted ways and the reason behind their split is still unknown. They have guarded their private lives zealously and it's interesting how they managed to not divorce and stay committed to each other, so many years after a separation. Randhir pays visits to his family often, even though they live separately. The 'mystery' status of their marriage has actually worked in Babita's favour. She has much more say in the lives of her girls than Randhir!
Jaya Bachchan
Jaya Bachchan was a far more successful star when she got married to Amitabh Bachchan. But she chose to retire after marriage and spent time in bringing up her children. The lady is quite admired for maintaining her dignity and keeping quiet during the period her hubby started romancing Rekha. She knew that opening her mouth will open a can of worms and till date she has not spoken a word about the unpleasant topic. It was always her family's reputation that mattered!
Jaya took up acting only after her children fully grew up. She is known to check everything in her house personally, in spite of a battery of workers at home! A great combo of a wife and career woman!

Rajesh Khanna was 32 and Dimple was only a teenager when they decided to get married. Dimple was considered to be one of the most beautiful actresses of that time but she never had a happy married life with the Casanova Khanna. The man was known to keep things to himself and in spite of Dimple being a complete home maker, she couldn't win him over. Rajesh Khanna who had ditched Anju Mahendru to marry Dimple, tried to divorce her after he fell for the young Tina Munim (now Mrs Anil Ambani) later. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh made a great on-screen couple and it was a treat to all their fans when they decided to get hitched. Neetu retired at age 21 and chose to turn home maker. She thereafter concentrated on bringing up her children Riddhima and Ranbir. Though Rishi and Neetu had their share of problems due to Rishi's drinking problems and high temper they never had any big fight. Even today they endorse Bollywood's happy marital side!

But later she slowly picked up star wife tantrums! She started partying till the wee hours of the morning and took up drinking and smoking. Now she is no longer the same woman whom Govinda married. Since then Akki has been barred from acting with Priyanka Chopra. Well, she has proved that that she can play the required roles at required times!
