I know Preet can be punjabi
harman is punjabi
kulraj is punjabi
i dnt know the name of the youngest daughter..so that's still a mystery..
but prem is like hindi...that's odd how one kid has a hindi name....
i know some hindu punjabi families do that...but i thought they were playing to be a sikh family..r they????....great now i dn't even know that....

First of all they r not a sikh family...they are just shown as Punjabis

And all punjabis are not necessarily sikhs

And Prem is a universal Indian name...I guess anyone can keep it

O HO...relax guys...am a hindu punjabi myself n my name is radha....

i haven't been watching this show from the starting so missed it that they are not playing a sikh family...

n i never said that all punjabis are sikhs...since am a hindu myself 😆 😆 i think tusi meri post too fast read kiti shayad.... 😃

However even though I doubt its true, Gayathri may have named Veera, Harmaan and Preet, but she wasn't around to name 'Prem' so that could the reason!!
