Recap: Shanaya and Aditya are getting married. Kanya and Ranbir have to meet again to go shopping and he still doesn't listen to her!
Part 12:
The next 2 weeks go by really fast in wedding preparations. Kanya tries to stay away from it but Shanaya needs her help. Whenever she sees Ranbir she wants to just hug him but she remembers Ayan's threats and how her family would hate her again if she left him.
She met her family a lot and would just cry. They thought she was crying out of happiness and everything that happened. But the truth was that she had sacrificed her love for the love of her family.
Was her decision right? Even if she did sacrifice her family, would Ranbir accept her now? She lied to him and was married!
The day of the engagement came. Kanya was getting ready at home to go to the Nanda Mansion.
Ayan: where are you going?
K: oh its my friends engagement
Ay: where?
K: Nanda Mansion
Ay: I'm coming with you. Theres going to be a lot of big business people there.
K: Ayan please don't make a scene there
He grabs her hair: why are you scared that I'll embarrass you?
K: let me go your hurting me
Ay: I'll do what I want B****
K: if you don't stop, you cant come with me!
He lets go and throws her to the floor
AY: I'll be ready in 10 minutes. Fix your face, its all ruined with tears.
Kanya just sits and cries in the corner for some while. Then Shanaya calls and Kanya tells her what happened
Shanaya just tells her to forget Ayan and come. But Kanya says no then he will just kill her.
Kanya and Ayan leave after 15 minutes. They don't say a single word on the way there and as soon as they reach the Nanda Mansion they split.
Ayan heads straight to the bar and Kanya goes to meet Shanaya.
Soon the engagement ceremony begins. Kanya is looking everywhere for ranbir but he's no where.
Shanaya: Kanya please stay with me. My family is all busy with the guest and Adi's family
K: yeah sure I'll stay with you
S: so that jerk Ayan came with you?
Kanya looks over and sees Ayan standing by the bar, trying to talk to people. But then her eyes fell on Ranbir. He was just entering and coming straight to the front
K: shh Shanaya lets not talk about him please. I'll tell you about it later
Ranbir came up to the stage and congratulated Shanaya and Aditya. He took the ring out and handed it to Aditya.
He then saw Kanya standing there. She gave a small smile to him and he could tell she was sorry.
R (thinking): I know she really loves me but its wrong because her husband is a nice guy and really loves her. I just have to keep myself away from her. That's the only way everyone will be happy.
The ring ceremony is soon over and the dancing begins. Aditya and Shanaya first dance and soon all other couples join them. Ranbir wants to ask Kanya but then sees Ayan there.
Ay: come on kanya lets dance
K: I don't want to dance with you
Ay: come or else I'll call papa. Tell him that your digging another guy now. He'll just think you're a S***.
K: shut up Ayan! Lets go
They go and Ayan puts his hands on her waist. She hates the touch of him. It makes her cringe. She sees Ranbir just staring at her and his eyes watery. She really wants to be with him and talk to him.
K: Ayan that's enough. I have to go somewhere
Ay: where?
K: somewhere here
Ay: oh really. Are you sure its not another guy?!?
Kanya freezes
Ay: its another guy isn't it?
K: no
The song changes to a fast number and Ayan takes Kanya and spins her around really hard and keeps spinning her so she gets really dizzy. And then he lets her go off spinning and he goes and dances with some other girls there.
Ranbir turns around from the bar and sees Kanya about to fall. He runs and catches her in his arms. Right when she falls in his arms she says:
K: Ranbir I love you. I'm really sorry
And with that she passes out
Mallika comes running over
M: what happened beta?
R: I don't know. I saw her about to faint so I came over.
Now Shanaya and Aditya also came over.
S: oh my God, what happened to kanya?
M: shh beta its okay. Lets take her upstairs. Ranbir pick her up
R: but mom how can I?
M: Ranbir! Just do it
He picks her up and takes her upstairs. Following behind him is Shanaya and Aditya
M: here beta out her in this room
R: but that's my room
M: Ranbir! How can you be so inconsiderate. The poor thing is so unwell. Take her in there right now and call the doctor.
She turns to Shanaya and Aditya
M: come on both of you go back down and I'll inform you as soon as she wakes up or when the doctor comes
They go back down to the party and the doctor comes. He goes inside and does her check up while Malika and Ranbir wait outside. He is really impatient
M: relax ranbir. Why are you so tense?
R: no nothing. I'm justâŚummâŚyou knowâŚ
The doctor came out.
Doc: you can come in now. Shes awake.
M: Ranbir go call Shanaya
When they all get to the room they ask the doctor whats wrong.
Doc: don't worry its nothing to worry about. Is her husband here?
S: yes but he's downstairs
Doc: okay well you might want to call him
R: why is everything okay
Doc: Oh yes Mr. Nanda everything is fine. And Congrats to everyone. Kanya is PREGNANT!
