poll: Kanavu kanni 2008 yaar?

my fav has always been sada.😳😳 she only has 'Leelai' releasing this year & for her sake, i hope the film does well. she's always been my top choice for kanvu kanni since 2003.

oh i knew that cinemalover. sada has always been an underdog in the rat race for the no.1 heroine position in kollywood. she'll definitely not make it into the top 5 or even the top 10 list this year.😆😆 she only has one upcoming tamil film & i'm not that deluded to think she can be the numero uno heroine in kollywood with that one film.

anyways i don't care much about where she stands in the top heroines list. as long as she appears on the silverscreen & does a good job, i'm satisfied to be her fan.😊

I don't think Asin/Nayan/Shriya/Trisha are relaxing, they must be doing work, but we don't see the practical result in the movie. Their roles are same, except for the three I've mentioned.

And it isn't easy to become a good actress, the way you are crediting the good work of actresses to directors is ridiculous, I feel. Don't they deserve soem credit atleast for their work?It is easy to linger in the shadows of heroes, sing duets,wear modern clothes, by accepting all the crap roles tht come your way, the only place were they have to work is while choosing their movies- 'The big director, big actor' business; but it is tough to do challenging roles, and perform well.The Kanavu Kanni's work is negligible in front of the work of the performing actresses.It takes pain to feel teh emotion of your character, it takes time and trouble to get into the skin of your character, and it takes hell lot of hoemwork and preparation to be ready to play your character beautifully.These are not my words, but I've heard directors and actresses themselves talking abt this, through ages. The Kanavu Kanni's have still not done anything to claim 'hardwork to have been one'.

If you've read my post properly, you wud have noticed that I said I clearly know wht Kollywood demands in actresses, but that I prefer the performing actresses.It was my opinion.I repeat again, I said I want to se Tamanna rise ;I didn't exactly say'to the top'. There was no need for tht particular beginning sentence of yours, I know very well whts going on in Kollywood(though not as wel as you do 😊 ), thankyou.
