Filmfare-why are ppl upset?

i was reading some of the comments on this forum and i just don't know whats so damn upsetting abt the filmfare ????

they are a hundred times better than those awards where ppl just come on stage and say 'i love you london' ... 'i love you malaysia' etc etc....

these were actually entertaing... and all those media reports about akki and srk war of words---- utter rubbish!!! ... anyone who watched the awards can easily tell that both of them had pre-planned this... akshay was neither upset at srk's digs nor was srk shocked with his response... it was part of the act...

why are people just so unable to see the humourous aspect of it ??? ... even the bachchan's joke were great .... everyone knew that all the ppl who were not invited were upset with the bachchans.. both of them just made light of the situation ... it was so so funny..

and yes, they even made fun of themselves... so its not that they were targetting certain ppl....

where is our sense of humour gone ? It was one of the most entertaining shows in recent times.. lets just enjoy that!

it was really fun--srk didnt just smile...he replied vocally...

I so agree with you.. i guess the humour has died on this forum. Oh well everyone has their favorites. I bet if it was their favorites up there they would have appreciated it.

The show was good,although most of it is rigged no surprises whatsoever in any of the winner's faces.
anyway, I never said srk and saif were bad, they were good esp the witty remarks, my problem is with placement. They said it was a black tie event, a red carpet was there , yet it wasnt professional enough. The decorum was missing.

had srk-said hosted the same for a new years show or a entertainment show, it would have been fabulous and ideal.

I am saying for this event, it was too informal and unorganized, it has nothing to do with srk or saif

Yahh .. the article was soo over the top .. they made it sound liek akki and srk were at war of words ... it was actually funny and it was scripted for sure..

Honestly, i dint like the yr studio ..it was soo small and the seating seemed so unorganized . Also I dint like the fact that some of the performances were recorded not live .

I think that they have made a joke out of these awards. The Filmfare awards are supposedly the most coveted awards and they have totally turned it into a sick and idiotic show.

Moreover, they used really really bad language that was unacceptable and inappropriate.

true and the stage was pretty small as well

Yeah..I noticed a lot of members stating how these awards were "the worst" and so on 😕 ..like i really dont understand what made them call it horrible or anything of that sort..no matter how formal or prestigious any award function is, humor and fun should always be there..otherwise, we all would come up with complaints of how such 'prestigious' awards r so slow and boring..

honestly, Saif and SRK made this award show worth watching...otherwise, filmfare awards r pretty simple and plain boring!!

im pretty sure we all know that we could have gotten pretty straightforward and serious people to host this show as well, and then all of us could have gotten all the formality we needed..but this is what makes an award function worth watching ..humor and fun..its not like it wasnt pre planned and no one knew what SRK and Saif were going to come up with..it was pretty obvious, and everyone should mind the fact how Saif and SRK did make fun of their own selves as well..which not many ppl do....and then everything followed..and i think we all know how everything was meant to be taken as a joke!...they kept on repeating how they're "rude, vulgar and mean"...i think that says a lot..i wud prefer Saif and SRK over anybody anyday at any bollywood function, simply becuz they make it 'fun' and more entertaining than anybody else! ..

and no offense intended, but humor shud be taken as humor.....we all can interpret everything in our own ways and call it mean and rude or whatever...but im pretty sure we all know how Saif and SRK were just fooling around and had no intention to offend anyone!
