award shows are also a source of entertainment along with awarding those who have performed really well, in my opinion it was great i totally enjoyed your supposed to take in light spirit and not take offence.

i couldn't be bothered watching the show but i saw promos on TV of the supposed "funny" bits, they looked so predictable and obvious. Making fun of Himesh's nasal singing? HOW COULD THEY COME UP WITH SOMETHING SO ORIGINAL LIKE THAT?

I suppose there is no accounting for taste

sharukh should go join some rehab along with his gay pal saif...they really make a pair and they looked like well dressed waiters....great words ,vidya..sharukh...don't tell me you were scared that darsheel was nominated too....i think mister your days are numbered...u can field or carry drinks now for your calcutta team...bollywood has some real good heroes now.( this is my point of view )

i too liked her dress but maybe what that post meant was ..she needs to lose weight..she looked biiiiiiigggggg in that dress.

These awards need to get little serious as they are awarding the best of the best..isn't it....

'Big' is a punishably gross euphemism mate. She looked scary, and personally, I felt that dress was-- putting it mildly-- hideous. If she can't be arsed about looking svelte and elegant, then she has no business in bollywood, her talent notwithstanding.

Another horrendously dressed celebrity was Gauri Khan. What the blazes has she done to herself, she looked the worst, and that is saying something because there were loads who looked bad

i think Srk is Third of Bollywood or something and want to take break for a while--i think that would be Good for him 😉

My views on Filmfare. I caught rest of the show later at night.

Good: Kapoors sisters looked very good and Karishma is one hot mom. Deepika looked ravishing and her acceptance speech was very sweet. SRK-Saif as usual. Na-real awards even though was scripted still funny. Vidya and Akshay Kumar played along very well. I wouldn't be surprised if Akshay and SRK host it next year because it is clear that 3 of them are very close pals. Jodha-Akbar and Deepika comparison was hilarious and the best joke of the evening. Forgot to add another set of Kapoors looked best. Papa and beta Kapoors along with Mama and sister Kapoor. I am talking about Ranbir's family.

Bad: All performances. I didn't like a single one. Shiamak Davar is the worst choreographer. He even turned Dhoom tana into Mohabbat kar le kar le re. The steps were repetitive and costumes were hideous. The stage set for performances were tacky and camera angles were bad. Hrithik Roshan looked a tad too serious. I am surprised that he wasn't invited to give away any awards and Gul Panag was handing over trophies.😕

Ugly: Some jokes were crass and rude. A public platform and that too Filmfare event which is considered Indian equivalent of Oscars shouldn't be used to settled personal scores. The Bachchan ones and Vidhu Vinod Chopra one was two such jokes. Another thing is don't poke fun at the ones who aren't even present at the venue. Vidya Balan's dress (?) was hideous. Looks like she got it stitched from Maganlal dress wala near some panshop🤢. Gauri looked drenched in oil from head to toe.
