Speaking to BBC Radio minutes after unveiling his wax statue at Madamme Tussauds, actor Salman Khan took a dig at his ex girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
When asked by the show host how it felt to be placed next to Aishwarya Rai Salman promptly replied, "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan… I am no where near Aishwarya Rai Bachan or Amitabh Bachchan or Shah Rukh Khan. I am in front of them!"
The actor was his usual cocky self through out the interview. Speaking about his selection by Madamme Tussauds after he won the popularity poll Sallu in his usual confident tone said, "I am used to this popularity. My fans have always been by my side. They have always been on my side every time I am in trouble."
On being asked if he had asked the sculptors to cover any body part that he wasn't very sure of Khan simply said that he didn't "have any insecurity at all" and that "it felt absolutely fantastic to see his statue."
When discussing love Salman gave his fans an insight into the soft side of the superstar. He said that he didn't enjoy candle lit dinners because he couldn't see his food and for him the most romantic thing a man could do for his woman was to protect and save her when she is in trouble and described himself as "a primitive man in a modern society."
Speaking of his fondness for the city of London, Khan said that he loved coming to the capital with a huge Asian population. "This was the first country I made an overseas trip to so I love the memories I have of this place." The actor added that he loved coming to the place filled with so many Asians even if that meant that he was constantly chased by all his fans!
