Revealing baby gender before birth - ban?

Being proactive...as this will soon happen to male child

Sad and frustrating.... girl child aborted after learning what gender it is ?

Am not sure...but is it feasible or risk free to abort after learning what gender kiddo is ? no law against it ? sad sad and sad... if there is medical reason or risk to mom's life ...why a planned or unplanned conception should be considered for abortion, I mean there should be a very heart touching reason...orelse really don't why people do that ? not going to true facts ..might be inappropiate...but unable to understand... I mean with so much awareness why such things exists ? So if in India if gender determination legalised we are seldom to hear it's a gurl, in today's age?

recently, i heard that they found a baby in the dustbin in some place in Tamil Nadu and the poor people there who found the baby adopted her

now, my problem is, i think it is better to abort a baby rather than throw her in the dustbin for dogs to tear at and die

Agreed at bold parts👏 I don't know how you could throw a innocent baby in a dustbin😭 Things like this are sadening. Yes better to bort a child that is not wanted rather than throw it out like rubbish....At least if they never wanted it after birth, go through proper adoption means or leave the baby somewhere where it will be found like a hospital, like someone else did.

Throwing it out like trash is disgusting. The baby was born through no fault of its own - You as the mother gave life to the baby - Why give it a life in the first place if you end up doing something like that. Can understand after birth- emotional distress etc things happen and you no longer want it but no need to throw it to the dogs

The problem here is that eventually sex-selective abortion will screw up the male-female ratio. That alone will set women back in the dark ages. Women will be viewed more as objects than humans.

There is a movie called Matrubhoomi, which I recently watched. And it is pretty accurate in describing what will happen if females became rare and scarce in villages and towns in India.

The MINDSET has to change. Yes, if you abort the female child, she won't die in the dustbins.

But in the long run, you are screwing up the male-female population and are ENCOURAGING the killing of female fetuses.

Why our Govt and our Medical system allow to check Gender of unborn baby!!!?Why Educated Dr's n other peoples support and helping to do these process? 😕The system n law itself allow you to check the gender.....we cant blame on peoples....just make a law to prevent these kind of things.😳

I don't understand what is the point in having a kid if they want to leave him/her to adoption. Better not to have at all rather than conceive, abort to leave for adoption. After all having a kid is not like buying a toy in the toy shop. Even there you cannot give back a toy that your daughter does not like unless it happens to be Wal-Mart or Target.

Yes, i know i don't understand choices in that either as i am not a mother nor do i have much knowledge on why people do this😳

I guess they want the baby - and want to see it grow up in the world and as they feel they can not give it proper care they would like to see their baby grow up and have someone looking after it and giving it a better life then they could have after all every child has a right to life😳 and even though they can't give the baby a decent life someone else who can not concieve or wants children will take care of it.

Sometimes when they find they are expecting a baby - it is too late to abort it or they change their mind into the pregnancy and then get the baby adopted. 😳
