Hopes running high on Chhavi Mittal

Chhavi, who has done her Masters in Indian Classical Music from Gurgoan, has been not very regular with the riyaz sessions. In spite of that she manages to sing very well. Now both the judges and the audience have high expectations from her.

 

When asked about it, Chhavi says, "Singing is all about practice; it's not about studying alone. I left practice some ten years ago and I'm trying hard to live up to their expectations. As of now I'm doing riyaz for 4-5 hours. Thank God I am getting good comments and marks and I want to continue the same way."

Chhavi concedes that being one of the favourites is making her nervous. "The whole country is watching so I am definitely tense about it."

Anil Kapoor had come on Jjhoom India recently. What compliment did he give you? "He told me that I have a very photogenic face so I should join films," laughs Chhavi.
