~*~~Bhatti Murdered Kunal! NOT Akash!~~*~

Oh, God! Oh, God!

Just finished watching the video of SAB TV. And it shows that in the fighting that ensued after Akash went into Shruti's home, Kunal followed him and Bhatti to an abandoned building. At that site, Kunal kept violently thrashing both Akash and Bhatti badly, especially since he did not care any longer as he had previously taken permission from Tau ji to kill them. But somehow, in the fight, when Akash lay on the ground disoriented from the beating, Bhatti and Kunal fought. In that fight, Kunal was shot in the back by Bhatti with a gun. And technically-speaking, I do not think that Bhatti has a justification for killing Kunal; Kunal did not imminently threaten his life, although Kunal would probably have killed them later after he had satisifed his need to beat them. And plus, Bhatti shot Kunal from the behind, which means that Bhatti cannot justifiably claim self-defense. That is a bad turn of events and spells their doom.

So, actually, Bhatti did kill Kunal. It was not a misunderstanding like I had originally suspected. That is sad! For the mistake of his friend Bhatti, Akash has to suffer and rot in jail alongside him.

And truly, it was disgusting watching them (both Bhatti and Akash) throw the dead body of Kunal in the water. Bhatti was wrong; Bhatti was heartbroken and cried for his mistake. But...

But the fact remains that Bhatti is a murderer. I personally think that however bad a person Kunal was, he should not have been shot by Bhatti. Kunal, after all, did love his family as much as any person in the world can.

How sad! For them all!

ya same here . when kunal was in a good mood, he was a sweet lovable character. bhatti is a complete moron😡 how could he do this to akash???

hey i dun agree ppl...fine bhatti killed kunal but gatta/pistol was of kunal...he was killed in self defence and the basic thing is bhatti is in all this trouble 4 helping akash wen he went to shruti house....besides jab is pyar ke dangerous mamle mein bhatti ne akash ka saath nahi choda toh its akash duty as a fren to b wid bhatti wen he is in truble as well......i really felt bad 4 bhatti(n kunal) today, he was crying so bitterly...
and wat they did wid dead body was most natural action to do at dat tym...

hey ppl y r u forgetting dat pistol was of kunal and he is probably killed in self defence...wat was bhatti supposed to do...just stand there and let kunal kill him n akash off...

No, srk_lover, unfortunately, they still did not show who called Kunal in the first place. I really, really hope though that it was not Dev. Dev turning negative might be a twist in the story, but I do not want that twist; I like Dev's character and want him to remain as he is.

But that is the thing, Mitali: They did not show what exactly happened between Bhatti and Kunal when they were together in the abandoned building except the sound of a grunt or two and then a gunshot echo. However, it would seem that Bhatti unjustifiably killed Kunal because:

1) Bhatti shot him in the back. And no matter the circumstances, shooting someone in the back does mean that the victim was unaware of the looming attack and imminent danger to life. So, the subsequent attack Bhatti committed on Kunal with the gun will then necessarily be construed as murder and not self-defense.

2) Moreover, murder necessiates mens rea a.k.a. malice aforethought. However, mens rea is also defined in terms of murder that can be conceinved of "in an instant." While Bhatti can have a lawyer argue that he was under duress (which he was), it would only reduce his sentencing in terms of the verdict of murder. But he would still be considered guilty in the eyes of the law. Essentially, what all this amounts to is that Bhatti does not have a strong case for self-defense.

3) You mentioned that Kunal had a gun and while that might be true, there is no way of determining whether Kunal definitely, absolutely 100% intended to use it. For example, you may go to an ice-cream store to get an ice-cream. But later on, when you enter the shop, you might change your mind because you think on all the calories in the ice-cream which dissuades you from getting that ice-cream. So, nothing can be pre-determined or said for sure until it is actually done. Therefore, in that same way, possessing a gun in itself does not prove Kunal's intention to cause harm or injury. But Bhatti using the gun is an irrefutable fact. The difference between the two scenarios is vast.

4) Disposing of the body was a big mistake on both Akash and Bhatti's part. The fact that they disposed of the body will count against them if the body is later found because that would then prove their actions after the murder were premeditated. This will make the case for self-defense harder to prove.

And while I do feel sorry for Bhatti, I cannot see how what he did can be construed as self-defense under the eyes of the law. And that is why I think Bhatti is guilty. And that is why I think this is such a sad state of affairs.

i agree with kucchnahi, bhatti and akash should not have disposed the body, this does not look good in their case. another point i like to make is i think it was dev who phoned kunal for sure. It was definitely his voice

what's going to happen now? Untill now i was thinking it all might just be an accident, u know someone else might have pulled the trigger sort of think but these 2 are really involved in the murder. if they would have managed to run in the present then they could have gotten away with murder but is there any hope now for Akash and shruti to be together? i mean with akash landing up in jail!! and under these circumstances 😕

Mr Basu is killing me with all this suspense . i'm the kind who reads the ending of the book before begining it!
