Rakhi Sawant in new incarnation
Item girl Rakhi Sawant loves to be in news all the time and this time for some good reasons. Starting off as an item girl and then an actress and now she would be seen in a new avatar, as a singer, in her new album SUPER GIRL, under the banner of Venus, India's well known music company. For the promotional video of her debut album, she has not just sung but also performed to the choreography and direction of Pappu Maalu. In fact, it would be a double presentation on Rakhi's part, whose fans would certainly relish the fact.
According to Champak Jain, Director - Venus Records & Tapes Pvt Ltd, "This will be the first live cum animation music video and will easily be one of the most expensive music videos shot till date. It is a 4 minute song featuring Rakhi in the avatar of 'Super Girl' catalyzed by DJ Sheizwood's music." In this album Rakhi is seen in a new look. She characterize as a Super Girl.
In Super Girl, Rakhi is not the only singer as album is the compilation of songs by other artists also but Rakhi's song is the face of the album. Unlike her other numbers, the song 'Yaara naa dil laga...' will not have a provocative video.
As for Rakhi, singing a song was her dream which is now completed. Mostly singers record a song in an hour but Rakhi took almost 7 days to record a song. She had to do lot of hard work to record a song. Theme of the song is Rakhi's childhood dream as she always want to be a Super Girl.
The specialty about this new album lies in the fact that apart from performing, she will also sing in this album.
According to Rakhi, after attaining quick success through her music albums which she styles as 'bold', Rakhi in this album is seen as a different Rakhi. And the main punch of the album is that Abhishek, Rakhi's boyfriend is playing negative character against her.
Other than her item girl image Rakhi Sawant is also known for her social works. However, she reveals what set the Super Girl image ticking in her mind. "I donated blood during the Bombay blasts, adopted patients and looked after them, ordered food for hundreds of hungry people during the floods. Apart from that, Rakhi claims that she is a Supergirl. "Let me introduce you to my family - my brother is Krrish, dad is Superman, granddad is Shaktiman, and my friends are Spiderman and Batman", Rakhi chuckles.
