Difference b/w Virtual & Real Friends?

i guess the difference is that u can hang out with ur real life friends but can't do the same with ur online ones.i have to say this that my real life friends understand me better..maybe because we see each other every day n spend a lot of time together n online friends...well they know me but still don't no the real me...do i make any sense?lol if no then nvm.other difference is that i know my real life friends will be my friends for the longest time but i don't no if i will be friends with my online friends after 5-6 yrs..cuz after some time ppl get busy n don't rly spend much time on internet...if u no what i mean.i have many online friends but i am close to only couple of them..n those couple are the ppl who can tell something is wrong just
by ..u no..observing the way i type lolz its wicked!!same with my real life friends... i m close to only few of them.
i think its easier to make friends online n easier to talk to ppl on msn but i still prefer talking face to face.anyhow i guess friends are friends n it doesn't matter if they are in real life or on the net..i love them either ways.

I think there is a huge difference...my real friends get me...when I am weird and acting cuckoo and they get my sarcastic nature...but on I-F i have to make sure I don't make sarcastic jokes that others mite find offensive...I haven't reallie made any friends on I-F...kinda sad but whateva it's all good...I come here to discuss stuff that we have common interests in...like none of my friends watch indian shows or anything so I can't discuss it with them...but they def. do get me more b/c I'm more open with them...online I'm a bit cautious as to what I say b/c I don't know people that well so kinda makes it hard...I can judge people easily when I see them so virtually it's kinda hard to do that...but nonetheless you guyz still rock 👏 😃

Well the major difference between Virtual friends and real friends is that...real friends are REAL. You can see them, talk to them, touch them, hug them, lean on their shoulders in times of thick and thin, go out with them, enjoy fun-rides with them.

There are so much you can do with real friends.

Nope.But now I have friends from IF who are on par with my real best friends!!

I'm very choosy about my friends!!! I don't categorise my friends as virtual and real.My best friends of IF are Dr Abhijit Shukla Uncle,Uncle Jatayu and MNMS (maryam)!!

When you talk to your IF friends.... do you feel that you can tell them more things, because you're not talking to them face-to-face? Is it easier to become closer to a friend on IF, or a friend outside of the internet?

Yes!! I do feel like this.

Or do you feel that making friends here is so difficult because there are so many people? You feel more comfortable when you're not online making friends?

First of all let me make this an oppurtunity to thank Vijay ji for this forum!!😊.I got wondeful friends here.Dr Abhijit Shukla Uncle is one of my role models.Uncle Jatayu tells his concepts in a precise ,wise manner.Last but not least Maryam(MNMS) a very intelligent girl ,caring and matured friend!!

I agree with that because in both cases people need to be sincere if the friendship is to survive but in case we need some support locally, the friends in real life will be more useful.

YES EXACTLY....I TRUST EACH AND EVERY FRIEND ON IF THEY ARE VERY CLEAR TO ME AND TALK TO ME LIKE A FRIEND ....WHEN YOUR FACE 2 FACE U HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MROE THINGS.....

MAKING FRIENDS ISN'T SO HARD BUT KEEPING THEM IS HARD.......IF U HAVE THINGS IN COMMON WITH YOUR FRIEND THEN THAT'S BETTER BECAUSE THEN YOU'LL AGREE WITH SOME THINGS AT LEAST OR ELSE FIGHTS BEGIN WHICH WE SHOULD ALL AVOID 😳

believe it or not that makes hell lot of difference !
i'll tell you a common point as well.......both are virtual many a times😉

you can talk about different things....you might be comfortable saying one thing here and not in real and vice versa
