Episode 28: ISHVI Heads For Excursion Camp

The entangled hearts were racing fast, Ishaan wanted to say something but got disturbed by Shuklaji, who said, "Ishaan Sir, Rao Saheb is calling you."

IshVi snapped back to reality and regained composure. He smiled at her and left the cabin, while she, too, smiled to herself, grabbed her bag, and exited.

________________________

At night, at the dinner table, everyone was enjoying delicious meals prepared by the daughter-in-law of their family, Shikha and Savi. they were talking about the next day’s camp.

Rao Saheb glanced at his wrist and remarked, "Ishaan, Nishi won't be able to make it to the camp this year, so please manage everything alone. Don't get distracted by any unnecessary activities."

His comment was a direct jab at the budding love story of the newlyweds.

Ishaan deftly defused the tension, replying, "Why would I get distracted? This time, I have not TWO but THREE Bhosle lady supervisors in the form of students." He turned the taunt into a moment of family laughter.

Savi murmured to herself, "Oversmart! I'll see you tomorrow once you're away from your dear family. Let's see who will come to protect you from my banters."

Ishaan nods and playfully accepts her challenge.

After dinner, ISHVI packed their bags, checked everything off their list, and placed their luggage in a corner.

It was quite late so Ishaan requested Savi to sleep and not study till late at night for the day as the next morning they had to start early.

____________

The next day early morning at 6 AM, all students were decked up in their prettiest outfits and sweetest smiles on their faces. The college bus arrived at the campus, and all cheered up for it.

Ishaan was standing with other TWO professors, and Shuklaji was helping load the luggage into bus’ dickey.

Savi was enjoying her friend circle.

Excitement buzzed in the air as Ishaan and Savi, along with their final-year students at Bhosle Institute of Excellence, prepared for the excursion camp.

They had named the project "Eco-Fin Expedition: Exploring Economics & Finance Beyond the Classroom."

As they boarded the bus, the students' energy was palpable.

Everyone was hurriedly finding seats next to their favorite friends.

At last, Ishaan and the professors boarded and took the final count of the students.

Ishaan, scanning the crowd, noticed Savi sitting beside Shaswat.

Though both were equally bright students and his favorites, the husband in him couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy at seeing Savi with "another man."

He settled in behind her, accompanied by Shuklaji.

As the bus journey started, the students wasted no time in initiating a game of teasing each other and shouting, dancing and having fun at the top of their lungs by playing Antakshari.

Like as usual what happens in normal Antakshari games, there were a handful of “singers” singing songs from both sides. Ishaan first time saw this side of Savi, she was very quick in identifying letters and being ready with the song. In all duet songs, Sahahswat joined her and made the melody look romantic one.

This made Ishaan a little uncomfortable.

Meantime, someone from the students asked why is IshaanSir silent, and at least one song he must sing.

He grabs this opportunity and intervenes, “How we have divided the teams is clearly not right. If we plainly divide the left row and the right row, there can be some mismatch because not all will sing with the same passion.

So let a few get exchanged. “

He asks the Secretary of the Cultural Committee to come up with a fair division.

Savi proudly stands and says, “Umm, let every alternate person switch their seats?”

In the swiftly moving bus, people began shuffling their places even faster.

With some moving to their right and others to their left, Ishaan eventually found himself next to Savi, as if it were a natural occurrence with no ulterior motive.

Savi teased, “Ishaan Sir, you're with me? Oh no! I'm sure you'd get angry at me, Mr Chidkiya, but you won't sing a song for me to help my team win.”

Ishaan playfully says,” You are yet not aware of my hidden talents, sit back and relax. You are in for the best of Arijit Singh’s Album”

Savi replies, “Cool Mr. Chidkiya, you will get support from no lesser than Shreya Ghosal”.

Both laughed as the joke went on high.

The bus resonated with laughter and melodious tunes as the students showcased their singing talents.

Episode 27: Entangled Hearts of ISHVI

Ishaan apologizes for Savi’s behavior and hugs Surekha, reassuring her that she doesn't need to feel insecure. He helds her hands and says, “Like how we have many relations in life like chacha, mama, masi, cousings and still we give a due justice to all, similarly I will never steps back from either of my motherly relationship.”

Surekha forces a smile, but her heart still aches because her possessiveness doesn't even want to share Ishaan with his biological mom.

Ishaan and Savi go to college via cab and feel relieved to see his car in the parking lot.

They both get busy with their respective classes, assemblies, library work, and similar activities.

__________________________________

Shantanu comes to his cabin and meets him. Ishaan looked fresh and happy from father’s eyes.

He asks him, “Ishaan, hope all is well at home and new entangled life. The change must be difficult but I am proud of you and Savi coping with them. Beta, life is never easy and always gives surprises at each step. It’s up to us how we choose to respond.”

Ishaan looks at him and for the first time gets a perspective of a married men.

Shantanu reminds him that this is the best time to plan a excursion camp since three weeks later viva and all will start.

Ishaan thanks him, shows his laptop and says,” Yes Baba, I am already on it”

__________________________

After finishing her classes, Savi goes to the library to gather past exam papers and additional reference materials.

Her friends join her; Kajal and Navya attempt to tease her, saying, “Savi, why do you even need to study these books? Your life is set. You're already the wife of Director Ishaan Bhosle.”

Savi becomes annoyed and responds, “He is my husband, but don't I have my own identity too? My marital status may have changed, but my career goals haven't. I am still the same Savi who is on her way to becoming an IAS officer.” She looks up proudly and smiles.

Shaswat said, “Savi how will you manage your studies at home now onwards? You have a big fat family, won't you be busy with them?”

Savi thinks of Ishaamam’s proposal of staying there, “I have something planned, will see and let you know”

Preeti says, “We will also have an excursion camp this month, anytime soon. You might be needed in the excursion management as well.”

Before Savi responds to her, Shuklaji comes and interferes them, “Chauhan, Savi Madam, Ishaan Sir is calling you in his cabin.”

As she stands up to move, her friends cheer and playfully tease her,

Navya calls out the exaggerated phrase, "Off to see the boss!"

Shaswat pats Navya and says, "Better not keep the hubby waiting!"

While exchanging knowing glances and chuckles, Savi quickly grabs her bag on the way out.

__________________________

Savi knocked the half-open door of Ishaan’s cabin, he gave her a quick glance and signaled her to come in and sit on the chair next to him.

She comes, puts her bag on his table, pulls the chair and sits on it.

Ishaan moves his laptop so that she can see the screen and starts explaining, “Every year, in April month, we arrange an excursion for final year’s students. This year we are planning to do it next week itself, and if possible sooner than that.”

Check the slides, I have jotted down ideas, places, project goals and learning outcomes. I need an expert opinion of our Cultural Committee Head on it.

Savi's eyes spark with excitement as she pulls her chair a little closer to his, her fingers tingling with anticipation as she eagerly starts to browse through the presentation. As they dive into discussions, their expressions become animated, their faces lighting up with enthusiasm as they use hand gestures to emphasize their points.

Where they had drowned in the flow of discussions with hand gestures, all of a sudden Savi’s bangle gets entangled with Ishaan’s rudraksh bracelet.

They exchanged amused glances, both trying to separate the entwined jewelry carefully to avoid breakage.

However, Savi had a pen in her hand with which she was trying to open the clasp of her bracelet, which in the process was making some random drawing on his hands.

Unbeknownst to her, the pen leaves a trail of random doodles on Ishaan’s hand, causing him to suppress a chuckle at the unexpected ticklish sensation.

Due to the tickling sensation, Ishaan starts moving around, which makes Savi angry. “Sir, please sit quietly and don't move. I am trying hard to see the hole with the pen.”

Ishaan jerks a bit. “Your pen is dancing on my wrist in the form of tickling, I cant control further.”

This was again a double-meaning dialogue for both of them, which made them quiet and look away from each other.

At last, Savi succeeds in opening the clasp and untangling the bracelets. But as they both look at his wrist, their eyes widen. The zigzag doodle art has turned out to be a heart shape.

Yes, Savi’s heart on Ishaan’s wrist!

Savi feels extremely shy when she looks into his eyes, he loves her shyness and wishes to tease her a bit. He takes the pen from her hand and try to make some random doodle on the heart drawn by her looking into her eyes, she looks down and sees he has drawn an arrow crossing over the heart.

The pin-drop silence in the cabin was echoing racing and entangled hearts of IshVI

Episode 29: Fireside Chat & Dumb Charade

During the journey, the students couldn't resist engaging in playful banter and friendly competition. Ayush and Preeti engaged in a lively debate about the best investment strategies, while Kajal and Navya couldn't stop giggling as they shared stories from their hometowns.

Upon arriving at the campsite, the students were divided into teams for various activities related to Economics & Finance. Savi, being the brightest student among them, eagerly took charge of her group, leading discussions and brainstorming sessions with enthusiasm.

The first activity, named "Market Marvels," involved analyzing local market trends and identifying opportunities for economic growth. Durva and Anvi showcased their analytical skills as they carefully observed consumer behavior and pricing strategies.

Meanwhile, Ayush and Preeti delved into the project "Profit Pursuit," where they explored different business models and calculated potential profits. Their competitive spirit fueled their determination to come up with innovative ideas.

As the day progressed, the students participated in the "Sustainability Quest," a hands-on activity focused on promoting eco-friendly practices in business operations. Kajal and Navya impressed everyone with their creative solutions for minimizing environmental impact while maximizing profitability.

As the sun began to set, Ishaan and Savi observed their students with pride, marveling at their enthusiasm and dedication to learning. The camp had not only provided valuable insights into Economics & Finance but also fostered friendships and memories that would last a lifetime.

As they gathered around the campfire in the evening, the students shared stories and laughter, basking in the warmth of newfound bonds and shared experiences. For Ishaan, witnessing Savi as one of their students growth and camaraderie was a testament to the power of experiential learning and the joy of teaching.

Ishaan and Savi found themselves drawn to each other's presence, their gazes meeting amidst the warm glow of the flames.

As the night progressed, laughter and camaraderie filled the air, with students sharing stories and anecdotes from their college experiences.

Amidst the lighthearted banter, Durva suggested playing a round of dumb charades. Excitement rippled through the group as they divided into teams, led by Durva and Anvi, each eager to outwit the other with their miming skills.

Ishaan and Savi found themselves on opposing teams, exchanging playful glances as they prepared for the friendly competition.

With each charade acted out under the starry night sky, bonds grew stronger and memories were made that would last a lifetime.

Turn by turn, it was becoming interesting. The secret googling wasn't allowed to find the old Bollywood movies :D Everyone’s phones were kept aside to avoid cheating.

The students were having real fun out of mobiles with real people.

Amidst the hushed anticipation, Ishaan stepped forward to enact the next movie title.

Savi comes and murmurs the movie's name in his ears. The title of that movie was very apt to their current situation. She again comes near him and says, “So, the challenge started Mr. Chidkiya, I will now enjoy it,” shows her tongue and then runs.

With exaggerated gestures and animated expressions, Ishaan began to mime, his movements fluid and captivating. Mimicking Shah Rukh Khan's iconic outstretched arms stop a train, he then pointed at Savi and made a heart shape with his hands. Savi watched intently, her eyes alight with amusement as she tried to decipher his clues.

After a moment of intense concentration, his team members’ faces lit up with realization. "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge!" one of them exclaimed, a triumphant smile gracing his lips as his team erupted into cheers of victory.

He secretly winks at her and takes back his seat.

As the game of dumb charades unfolded, it was soon Savi's turn to dazzle the group with her acting prowess. With a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, she stepped forward, ready to embody the essence of a beloved Bollywood classic.

Ishaan grabs this opportunity and murmurs a famous movie name in her ears. Then slowly says, “Revenge completed”.

Hearing this Savi loses balance and is about to slip, but Ishaan grabs her waist and saves her from falling down. He slowly slides his right hand from her waist to her head and tightens his left hand on her waist. She wraps both her hands around his neck. Both get lost in an intense eyelock. The crowd starts coughing and brings back the couple to their senses.

Shy Savi gets free from his tight grips and comes on the stage and thinks for a while. She was in the impact of what had just happened so taking some time to enact.

However, Ishaan and the crowd start backward counting, “tick tick 1, tick tick 2 and…”

She starts enacting the movie before the crowd completes “...tick tick 3”

Channeling the iconic steps of Hrithik Roshan, she gracefully mimicked the signature moves from "Ek Pal ka Jeena." With fluid gestures, she recreated the electrifying dance sequence, capturing the essence of the film's romance and excitement.

With each step, she exuded the charisma and charm of the legendary actor, her movements mesmerizing the audience. As she effortlessly performed the iconic dance steps, the atmosphere crackled with energy and anticipation.

Her teammates watched in awe, eagerly trying to guess the movie as she seamlessly blended the steps into her performance. With a final flourish, she struck a pose reminiscent of Hrithik's iconic stance, leaving her friends cheering and applauding in delight.

Her team shouts, “Kaho Naa….Pyaar Hai”

It was the final round so all joined her and did the signature steps of Hirithik Amisha which they have imprinted on viewers' minds.

At that moment, as Savi was basked in the glow of their admiration, Ishaan felt a deep sense of joy and connection, knowing that she had brought a piece of Bollywood magic to life in their midst.

With this normal dumb charade game and playful exchange, their bond deepened, weaving a tapestry of shared laughter and camaraderie under the starlit sky.

Episode 30: ISHVI - Falling in Love?

Till midnight 3 AM, games and fun lasted, and then everyone was yawning heavily, so they started retiring to their tents. The ladies had been allotted tents on the right-hand side, while the gentlemen had tents a little further away, up on the hills.

Savi’s friends teased her, “Where will Mrs. Bhosle sleep? If you have any confusion, can we go and confirm with Ishaan Sir?” Savi teased back, “Don't you dare annoy the Malika E Bhosle Institute. You're all under my observation from now on.” And they walked towards their tents.

Savi was unaware, but Ishaan was able to hear their conversations.

_____________________________

A victorious smile appeared on his face hearing Savi’s words as if he had won world war 3.

He wasn't sure of her feelings for him. She had already warned him about her career dreams and the tentative tenure of their “contract” wedding. So, Ishaan was forcibly blocking the corners of his mind from seeing Savi as his wife. But his heart had already crossed those boundaries long ago, without his knowledge.

Ishaan confessed to himself that what he felt about her, what he thought about her, was definitely not just guilt, care, or concern. It was a special feeling, very special.

_________________________________

Both Ishaan and Savi were in their respective tents, trying hard to sleep but cherishing the cute memories they were building together. This camp was by far the best for Savi. She got to lead the teams, gathered knowledge, played games, got teased, and, on top of it all, won the constant attention and admiration from her husband. She felt anxious, wondering what this feeling was called.

________________________________

Ishaan kept changing sides and pillows but couldn't stop thinking about her — her smiles, moves, and banter.

He talked to himself, “I need to talk to her if she feels the same way. No, no, I can't. What if she says no? But what about my feelings? I can't think of anything else without her. Hmm, tomorrow I will meet Prateek and talk to him. He will surely guide me.”

_______________________

The next morning, as the camp comes to an end, a group photo was being clicked. All stood beside their besties and Ishaan clicks a selfie. Then Shuklaji clicks another photo, one of just the students and one of only the staff members.

Durva, Ayush, and their gang are as usual up to mischief, and they receive an earful from Ishaan for always being late and harassing other students.

Finally, the bus arrives and all start boarding it. Anvi comes running to Ishaan and says, “Dada, we have had clicked all pictures, but one with me and Durva is pending, let's get clicked.”

He smiles and hugs her sister and says, ‘Why not?”

Trio smiles at the camera and a sweet picture of cousins is captured.

Anvi winks at Shuklaji, and he steps forward, saying, “Sir, why not one picture of the Bhosle family at camp?”

He positions Chavan beside Ishaan and snaps a photo of Ishvi, Durva, and Anvi.

Anvi expresses her gratitude with her eyes to Shuklaji and then boards the bus.

Taking her seat beside Ishaan, she jokes, 'Dada, I may be younger than you, but I'm not blind. I can see what's going on,' glancing mischievously at Savi, who was dozing with her eyes closed against the headrest.

Ishaan chuckles, 'Oh, come on, Anvi,' and pulls his younger sister into a hug.
