He is trying to sound humble but failing 

His PR is certainly hard at work.  

First the interview where he claimed the guard mistook him for a delivery man, and a producer’s assistants didn’t recognize him as Agastya Nanda.  Now they’re taking the “I faced rejection and criticism” angle.  Did he also throw in the word hate?

OK kid, you are being interviewed by Anupama Chopra because of who your grandfather is. The approach is contradicting and negating itself from the get go. Maybe you should have waited for Ekkis promotions to present all this woe is me drama.
