Thank you, thank you so much for showing a non-perfectionist, messy, self-proclaimed lazy girl who is still ambitious and wants to do something in life! I love the way Abhira describes herself- how she was the queen of laziness as a child so became jugaadoo to do stuff! She is truly the most gen z character I have seen not only across ITV but across many other shows! Another dialogue that highlights her- She doesn’t make the same mistake thrice. Isn’t that so Abhira? Everyone makes mistakes but some people are so perfectionist that they strive to make no mistakes. And some people get so ashamed of making a mistake, they are deeply afraid of repeating it even though it’s completely normal! Abhira doesn’t care though- she embraces her flaws so lovingly! I love how she loves her flaws and basically just loves herself! Has anyone seen such a positive, self- confident girl in fiction? She has no bitterness, no hatred, no self pity in her. She can get angry and anxious and irritable but she also easily gets over it- she easily apologises and if one is sweet to her, she becomes double sweet. Her character is really inspiring- did they change the writers for Season 4? Because I’m actually awestruck with the casting and character arcs and dialogues.

She is the one who look like belong to this generation... Lazy but passionate( I'm also like that because I am lazy I found out easy way of hard work get appreciation of that...I can relate with her the most) ... And her comment on that she don't mistake thrice means she does repeat same mistake again which is ok and happened many time in real life...

Currently no one is like her character that confidential and full of self realisation... (But I also like anandi character from past show who is outstanding) ..

Abhira is respectful, loving, bubbly and pointing out other mistake ( the most loving part for me is when she is said to Manish no relation and no hack ... Means wow), her maintaining a distance from a person who not worth is something which I not found in till date anyone( believe me not even in my fav character anandi) ....

She is basass for bad and angel for good ... Just loving her natural... Cherry on the cake is samridhi ...

Totally resonate with everything you said. I’m watching a ITV show continuously after maybe 10 ish years, and the only reason I started watching it was cus Abhira is sooo confident, she is a Gen Z who knows

You need to respect elders, but these elders don’t have the right to insult and disrespect you simply cus they are “bade”

I loved that attitude. She is happy, she tries and tries even if she fails.. this trait is super important for a successful personality! Not giving up!

Watching her makes me happy at the personal level too… like it’s ok to not be the bahu material and focus on your career, and if the world can’t accept it, then it’s their problem. Cus girl, ain’t gonna live her life being dependent forever!

I’ll be super excited to see her do well professionally! I hope they don’t kill the lawyer wala track and go full on SaaS bahu mode.

abheera is just like mixture of abhinav + naira = abheera

the best combo

she has her nani's beauty ; fearness and intelligence

She has her father's goodness ; light mood ; simplicity and truthness

Abhira isn't some representative of the whole Gen Z as this post claims. Gen z and infact every generation has hardworking , diligent people. Unlike abheera, people do possess the sense to speak as and when necessary. Abheera just goes about misbehaving with adults which can't be covered up by the excuse of bubbly behavior.

Adults who misbehave are supposed to be misbehaved to as well. This terribly flawed culture is a big no and it should end. Badon ke haat sirf ashirvad dene ke liy.... chi

Bade do too much shit to get away with it. Give respect and take respect. You deserve nothing special for burdening the earth for few more years. Gen Z should really embrace this and throw this nonsense out of the window. If you are a good person you'll be treated well whatever your age background colour caste religion etc is Good bye ageism! Whichever way it is.

Bad bade like dadisa create miserable children like madhav Vidya and the daughter who is suffering abuse, they create another set of miserable children. Generational trauma will continue unless someone breaks it! How can people vouch for so much nonsense when everything is clear in front of them

The actual representation of Gen Z should be honoured by Ruhi it seems. Stay meek, stay cowardly in front of elders..

Thank God Gen Z have some sense on what is right and wrong, otherwise Abhira would also become a husband-chor like Ruhi.
