KJo threw him under the bus and cut his role short after the whole ban Pakistani artists sentiment took over India around the same time. He even did a video full of drama how his movie should be allowed to release blah blah

He’s a snake and he proved it at that moment

I am so glad Fawad is out of Bollywood. Better to be away from such toxic people.

Bollywood wasn't prepared for Fawad. I mean, the dude had killer looks—like, universally handsome, no doubt about it. And crazy talented, a kind of rarity Bollywood hadn't seen in ages. Not just Ranbir, but every current actor was no match for him. Looks, acting skills, charm, hotness—this guy had the whole package.

Okay I don't want to get into the beauty debate buuuut Fawad is a far better actor than a lot of actors in the cast. Only Fawad could have pulled off a gay role in a foreign film without it devolving into homophobic attacks or it becoming about his looks. I have only seen 2-3 of his films, and he is an incredibly brave actor who rarely capitalises on his looks.

He definitely deserved a meatier role even if the character were trash. What a waste of serious acting chops. Same with Shah and Aish's role in the film.

Ranbir is the only South Asian actor to have been admitted & graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film School....the most prestigious film school in the world. Strasberg is the guy who trained Al Pacino & Robert De Niro. The term "Method acting" which has now become synonymous with good acting was coined by this school and is their most intense course. Famous alumni include Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe, Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and many many more.

There's a reason Ranbir is widely considered the best actor in India by his contemporaries whether Bollywood or Southern and film-makers. This forum loves to hate on him for petty reasons but this is an extremely poor take saying he's no match for a very mediocre Fawad Khan.

Oh lol. You could disagree with anyone's post without the hyperbole and pulling oh-he-went-to-fancy-school rank. If you think he is the best out of 1.4 billion people just because he went to fancy school then his family could afford to send him there. Loooooool.

For so much praise by 'Bollywood and Southern and filmmakers,' he hasn't been casted in any regional cinema though?

Plus if we are pulling rank, Martin Freeman, Brian Cox, Mads Mikkelsen all have called method acting bullshit, and they went to even more pretigious schools than Lee Strasberg.

Ranbir is handsome. Not ugly for sure..I mean he anyday is better looking than Ranveer Singh for sure.

ADHM had a good mix. The leads were decent looking where as the exceptionally good looking ones like Fawad and Aish had extended cameos.

It shows that vanity is not everything which is ironic considering it comes from kjo..but the casting and the plot itself says so..i mean ranbir was madly in love with anushka when he had someone like aish madly in love with him..so that says it all..

Well if Jhanvi went to that school then that pretty much destroys my whole Lee Strausberg argument. 🤣

I stand corrected. Clearly the source I was looking at was corrupted.

Regardless, Ranbir is one of the finest actors in the country iMO

I see Janhvi kapoor..end of discussion smiley37

See these schools may be good..but above all is your own talent..which ranbir has regardless of where and what he studied and janhvi doesn't regardless of where and what she studied..it is only moment between action and cut which matter and some just shine in those moments and others just don't..

These people may all be famous but I would not consider any of them good actors, let alone great actors. And that's not even accounting for Janhvi's name being included amongst them.
