Danish is really the silent but deadly superstar.

Even ReJ gets high YT views every week (top 2 or 3) though one hardly hears about the show on SM.

to clarify, i am not talking or comparing quality of different shows. just highlighting that danish is a crowd puller even if he gets less buzz on SM.

I won't lie. I have positive feelings towards Jaan Nisar, but I believe Danish's choice of projects are in his comfort zone a bit much smiley36 Nevertheless he's very much successful!

I agree with you. So far the story is the main character and I am enjoying that. It keeps our attention on the journey of every individual. There is a lot going on plot wise too. I have so many questions and they left us on a cliff hanger for the week. In Danish's last couple of shows, I could figure out where the story was headed. But I have no idea when it comes to JN, except like the parts you've talked about. Quite intriguing!

I must say that while it's a larger than life masala story, there's still a sense of realism. For example: Dua's father sneakily spying at the neighbour lady without the dupatta, the way Kashmala was looking at Naushervan, it is all so unsettling. But then when these things happen in real life, this is how they feel. It's never sugarcoated in reality as much as people  expect it to be. So yeah i appreciate that. Also the affair-breakups of Dua's friend...good to see a PTV show showing this openly. We're used to seeing such idealistic relationships that it was quite refreshing to see that.

Every character seems to be grey. I am hoping all their actions play out in the bigger picture at some point. Chances are it will with the way they have been stressing on their wrongdoings. AS long as there's a reaction to all their actions in the story, I'm all game.

Dua's recklessness will land her in a soup definitely. Her father's also a do nambri aadmi... he curses others which he will see with his own daughter. His actions prolly will somewhere connect to what Naushervan opposes and it may some day bring them aamne saamne in that regard. Won't be pretty for Dua to deal with.

Kashmala is beyond in love with Naushervan. There's some backstory there. What if she originally wanted to marry Naushervan? Maybe that's why she got her husband killed.

You're right about Haroon. He's obviously looking for some sex and money. His brain can't brain beyond that.

As of now I understand both the protagonists. Sometimes we end up in complicated situations which get the better of us. That's exactly what's gonna happen to these two. They aren't at complete fault either. And since we're talking grey, as of now I am not in favour of Naushervan even marrying Dua without her knowing he has a wife already. But like you said, we don't know what situations caused him to jump in last minute and say yes.

Loving the balance so far and hopefully they maintain it till the finale.

I like the plot focussed writing too. In Danish's past shows his characters were the ones who took central focus; that everything else paled in comparison. I am glad the first three episodes have been establishing the plot and some of the backstory. Good they didn't give it all away quickly. My brain's had no rest since yesterday smiley36

One major difference from Deewangi (comparing it with that since it also starred Danish and Hiba)...Nageen being cautious made sense but her being unnecessary rude couldn't get me to relate to her at all. Sultan on the other hand, I could understand him falling in love at first sight and his growing obsession (even though Nageen's irritated expression made me wonder how did that happen smiley37).

This time, I totally get Dua. Whatever little we've understood about Naushervan makes me feel bad for him too. And like you, I'm a little vary about him making Dua his second wife. Unfortunately, these two don't have anyone except each other. Naushervan is alone in life. Dua bhi kahan jayegi...she's got nowhere to go.

You're right about the realism too. Kashmala's got so much havas in her eyes, urgh I was shuddering. In that nikah scene the way she was smiling...yuck, aisa laga hi nahi that she lost her husband. Naushervan was also visibly uncomfortable at her advances. I won't be surprised if she orchestrated everything...maybe she even asked for some jaaydaad and implied that she would take the kids away forever...otherwise which parents would push for such an alliance. Baba Saieen and Amma Saieen don't look like crooks...so far.

I honestly want happiness for both of them. They don't deserve the situations they are in. They aren't evil people, nor do they want to hurt anyone.

ARY has been posting stories. They should've put up a post though that would helped grabbed eye balls.

He was so good in chand tara. He should do a sober character or any romcom smiley9

Even a character like shehram may suit him.
