In today's episode, one thing I genuinely liked that though Anuj ranted about the evil hags and Maa ranted about Barkha-Balti, they were not ranting about EO's kids that way otherwise, they have really failed terribly. Everyone sees Anuj,CA, Anupama as a separate unit from Anupamaa and her bio kids with Van. No one tried to bring Shah kids and CA together like siblings. Heck if Toshu was asked to choose between CA and Nandini, he would chose Nandini. For Shah kids even Kavya's baby would be sibling even though it is not a Shah because they are in same unit. During Pakhi DV track, Pakhi-Romil-CA were established like siblings but that ended very poorly. Still Pakhi would chose Romil over CA because Romil is her devar figure.
If MaAn had discussed about adoption with Maa's kids and even allowed them to meet CA at times before officially adopting her, there would have been some bonding. At least Samar and Kinjal would have treated CA better and there would have been no jealousy factor between CA,Pakhi and Pari which people like Barkha could exploit. CA would have gone to hospital alongwith Maa during Kinjal pregnancy and she would be protected by a loyal brother and bhabhi when Baa tried to abuse her. In this case Maa would ignore only Anooj, not CA because of Samar and Kinjal influence. Dukhmukh and Upmaa would just do Leela Leela and Baa Baa respectively when CA was abused. Maya aunty would actually like Samar, Kinjal, briefly redeemed Pakhi and Maa. Even Pakhi and Toshu would have a soft corner for CA. Maa would be called out by Samar when she was late at CA's dance performance for Leela's khichdi. Kinjal would be more considerate and less dependant on Maa. CA would be with Maa when Toshu was injured. Maya might have lost the challenge but she would take CA anyway. Samar, Kinjal , Padhik and Anuj would break down at CA's exit. Even Maa won't indulge in Holi fiasco. Anuj may still exit due to his grief but not due to anger on Maa. Dimpy fiasco doesn't happen. Anuj is NOT Dimpy's father. Maya track would be same but Anuj Maya will be invited because Samar wants CA to do ghatbandan. Later Maya dies, Upmaa crashes plane and Balti becomes Upmaa's saas. Before Samar dies, he calls Anuj Papa when he tries to save him, adding fuel to fire. Vanar is more angry because of Samar's last words than his death. CA won't fear that Maa would leave her because she would be staying with Maa during Samar funeral days in Shah House. Also Balti would never even think to manipulate CA because she is close to Maa and Shah kids. CA can be insecure of Pakhi and her possible baby in this case but never Dimpy and Kinjal 's babies.
Anuj always remembered that Maa was supposed to be CA's mother but he failed to realise that she was also supposed to be a sister of Samar, Pakhi and Toshu. He and Maa failed to make her sister of them. Also, Kavya was more emotional about Samar's death than Anuj. She felt that her close relative died but he should have felt at least similar pain as AnuRaj because he was supposed to be Samar's father figure. Anuj was more interested in Baa Bapuji and Vanya than Anupamaa's kids who were his actual relatives technically. He did the same for CA. Baa, Bapuji , Vanraj , Kavya and Malti were Anupamaa's baggage but not her own children. Barkha had already become a burden after she abused Romil and promoted DV of Pakhi and caused losses so, she was Anuj's baggage. These six should have been tried like outsiders.
