A lot of actors take dig at "method acting" in the world since it is truly pretentious bs. Because it can precisely take a toll on mental healths of the actors as well as people around them.
And yeh sab karne se accha koi standard BA course ki history book pakad leta to prepare for this godawful film.

Ranveer was an excellent Khilji...that's what is important for the audience...how he got there, is his personal choice.
I think, Jim was slightly ironic because - according to him - Ranveer told about the efforts he made to get into the character but didn't know his lines
