Bollywood Brides - Trying Too Hard To be Western?

With all their pheeka beige and pastel colors, I feel like they are trying to be "western", except that they look ugly and washed out. Not a fan of the no make up look too.

You'll never see a white bride change her wedding dress colour, only in India these wannabes try to be something they are not.

Funny how Katrina actually followed tradition despite not even being Indian herself

Come on yaar, they looked pretty. I think pastel colors are awesome.

Pari looked pretty coz her makeup and jewellery was great and she was glowing. Also the pics looked beautiful coz their outfits matched with the white n green decor. But the dress itself wasn't great. Pari's pics in the dress minus that decor would've looked bland

For me pastel lehenga n bride both look beautiful n elegant but personally I prefer vibrant colours over pastel for brides.

But u r right it's western influence on designers for creating something different n then it becomes a trend. Also long dupatta moping the floor too is western influence..
