Long back there was a show on colors Marathi. that had same story line exactly like what you explained above and FL was very quiet, calm and introvert.  ML was not heartless or egoistic but in that show also he fell in love with first wife after marrying to his so called urban girlfriend.  FL keeps telling ML that this is wrong and he keep justifying and blackmailing her to not tell their affair to his urban wife.  it was on 7 pm slot.  in show both the wives were half sisters. I do not know about Imli's situation.

I think he shot initial pilot episodes

now it is someone else. 

It looks like the Marathi serial is making minute changes to make the serial more realistic and better than the Hindi one. This Kabir is really better than Aditya.

Yes Kabir is definitely better than Aditya 

Atleast he's not blaming Gunja for everything like Aditya did with Imlie kabir actually cares for Gunja he brought 12th admission form and books for her also motivated her for studies was best scenes till now
