Okay, I am actually confused

What are the makers trying to show? I know the aim was a #NavManyu bromance, but that's not coming through. What is coming through is a soul connection and dare I say, hold your breath ITV, romance. While in a jail cell, Abhi isn't recollecting Akshara's betrayal like he did Tilak 1.0 when his "pyar let him down," he's remembering his moments with Abhinav - from their dancing together, the barbecue, etc, just like Akshara is. To the same background score, judaai, they're both worried for Abhinav.

Now, I love NavManyu and think it had solid potential had it not been ITV with inconsistent writing. But knowing the future is Abhira, none of this makes sense or is convincing. After everything they've done to each other, how can Abhira reunite? Akshara's love and pining for Abhinav, her saying "mere zindagi lautane ki liya thank you Kanha ji", its a mess and I say this as an Akshnav shipper and past Abhira fan.
