Both movies were great horror films. Both had different stories.

Which one did you personally enjoy more, found more believable? Which spooked you out better?

Which evil spirit was scarier?

1) Malini Malik from Raaz - Dino's other woman, psyched lady, obsessed and crazy.

2) Sepahi Mohan Kant - Traitor in Indian Army

I personally liked Raaz a bit more. The whole Ooty set up was great, Malini was terrifying as she was obsessive and psycho when she was alive too! With her obsession with ruining Sanjana and Aditya's life, it spooked me and my friends out. But I've heard great stuff about 1920 too from my buddies!

I haven't watched the other one but Dino-Bips one was so scary, I remember I couldn't watch the jungle scene properly & the way I was so scared for days. Same goes for the Mithun's son's flim (that was also called 1920, no?) That professor was so so scary.

Raaz was so scary, legit. Ashutosh-Bips as an investigating team were powerful but it was scary. The lemons turning red, the hill station vibe, the forest, the fog.

Malini, unlike Mohan Kant wasn't just an Opportunist.

Malini was legit psycho crazy when she was alive and had an obsession with Aditya, to the point that she threatened to kill herself, threatened him of his life and had scary eyes. She ran away from a Mental aslyum when she was alive, before being found by Dino.

She was legit a 'Pret Aatma' like how Ashutosh's character described her.

The end scene where she kills him and possesses him and the fight to burn her body was horrifyingly scary.

Exactly! On top of that her voice. It literally gage me chills to the point I still remember it. Ashutosh's part was just as scary. It was really a scary movie.

For me, the spookiest BW movie is Bhoot (2003) cos it’s not set in some haunted mansion or village . It’s set at a normal apartment in a city where we actually live .

I love love both films but 1920 scared the FOOK out of me. Her tick tock demonic dance and the way she was running around the house giggling is a trauma stolen from my nightmare.

Raaz. That banshee scream stuck with me for quite a long time during childhood.
